Being a seasoned veteran of fool's errands, I normally would be cool with being nominated but Tate is a loon and kind of scares me.

I remember Hutch was on fire this time last year, and he had that big 4-0 shut-out against Columbus right before the All-Star break that had everyone thinking he was the next one. He has been on the down-slope ever since that game. For some reason this year he's having a hard time stopping beach balls. I don't get it. I don't get it either. You have QB's like Reilly and Willy who are back-ups and are dying to jump ship to get a starter gig, and then you have Tate, who is comfortable just living in BLM's shadow. Makes no sense. The only thing I can think of is that Hufnagel took Tate down to Tijuana in last year's off-season and got some incriminating photos taken.

I'll be cheering hard for the Vikings this Sunday, not just because they are my team but I want to see the Seahawks go out early. Seahawks fans are similar to Rider fans, total band-wagon jumpers and totally obnoxious. I had the misfortune of sitting in a Seahawk section at the Cardinals game on Sunday, and had to listen to their chanting all game. Then after the game the restaurant I was at was inundated with Seahawks fans and they kept doing the chant while I was eating to the annoyance of everyone else in the restaurant. I wanted to start chanting "Malcolm Butler" but decided not to antagonize them. Go Vikings!!!

As I explained to a Coyote fan, I have spent 40 years watching the Jets and the only thing that surprised me was that both teams didn't find a way to lose. At least we got a decent game. The Coyotes really are pretty brutal. But they do work pretty hard. Too many mental errors for the Jets. Argh

KBF now reporting live from Glendale. Tried to get into the Yard House but it was packed with Jets fans so went elsewhere. More Manitoba plates in the parking lot then Arizona plates. Jets jerseys out numbering Coyotes 3-1. I wonder what it's like here when the Coyotes play Florida or Columbus?
