I watched the first game of the year from 2014 again on the weekend, the game where we shellacked the Arblows. The starting right tackle was Dan Knapp. After every play Ejiro Kuale was bouncing around doing his arm flex thing, no matter what happened on the play, so glad that I don't have to see that anymore. There were so many guys playing in that game that are gone now. It's good to see the upgrades.

Mack hired coaches based on the candidates that required the least amount of work be done in finding and vetting them. Did he even look at anyone else other than Burke?

There was euphoria around Tim Daly? Wings was a huge show in the early 1990's, but other than that Tim Daly hasn't done much.

I was having beers a few weeks ago with a guy who knows Shea Webber's dad (he lives in Sicamous). Shea was complaining to his dad that after taxes and agent fees, his take-home was only $7 million. Man that's got to suck.

Stamkos is freaking awesome. He and Jonathon Toews are two of my favorite players to watch, because they aren't just clutch guys with unbelievable talent, they are born leaders.

I don't think Kyle will let his ego get in the way of who is on the field. This isn't the Joe Mack era. Kyle deserves a few mulligans. If Neufeld doesn't fit, he'll go.

My point, and I will admit it is a weak one, is that if one of the tackles goes down during a game, Neufeld could slide out to the tackle position if need be. Anyway, carry on...

Doesn't Neufeld have some value as a back-up tackle as well? Or am I just completely missing the boat on that one?
