  1. Buck Pierce in 2011, 2012 it was BP/Elliot/Brink, 2013 it didn't matter as he only played one game.
  2. 9 catches for 89 yards in the 2011 LDC. Context: Played in the first game of the season, got injured. Played in the LDC, 9 catches for 89 yards. Played in the Banjo Bowl, 1 catch for 10 yards. Didn't play again all season.
  3. He's not getting either of those two guys' jobs because they catch the football. Oh no! I exposed my negative Poblah emotions! I just booked a counseling session to try and come to terms with this condition....
  4. What does the Empty Suit aka Obama have to do with this?
  5. Good grief, I wish I had never mentioned Milt as everyone seems keen on somehow comparing him now to Kito Poblah. Fine, Stegall dropped a pass here or there while Rick House, Perry Tuttle and Joe Pop caught everything thrown their way even if Huffer threw the ball 20 feet over their heads. My opinion still stands on Poblah. Can he get his dropsies fixed? I hope so. He seemed like a nice kid and one I'd like to see stay in the CFL somehow. It would be nice to see him succeed, somewhere.
  6. Then he could be the Blue Baller...
  7. Hey! According to a certain poster I'm the only one who still brings up Brock Ralph...
  8. Here's another game I was at. Lapo's last game as Bomber coach. Kito showed a lot of promise in 2012. Too bad it just didn't work out. I am hopeful that Sask or Montreal gives him a shot. He's got loads of talent, just needs to focus on catching the ball.
  9. Well it seems the Toronto FC fans have responded in classy fashion to having to share BMO with the Argos. Elitist soccer pricks. http://www.torontosun.com/2015/05/24/toronto-fc-fan-spars-with-mlses-tim-leiweke
  10. So what's Iran's excuse? In Iran's case, religious extremism. Ever notice how the extremists in pretty much every reiigion all adopt the same belief system- homophobia, subjugation of women, intolerance of other beliefs, rigid behavioural rules, violent militancy and so forth? It also applies to the nuts in other non-relgious groups as well. I think it's also important to note that some religions have moderated their views in conjunction with changing social mores, and others haven't. The ones that haven't should be the focus of ongoing vitriol in my opinion, especially in places where people are being executed.
  11. Maybe Yantz out-duels Willy for the starting QB position? QB position does not count for the ratio. That's why most team's have never carried a Canadian as a QB (such as the 3rd QB). Yeah I know that. I was joking.
  12. You watched the video of that play? Where? Is it on Youtube? I do remember now that Hall got the ball away a bit late, and it was a typical Max Hall rainbow, but I still remember thinking Kito should have had it. As for me "piling on", good grief, I am just giving my opinion that I didn't think he could catch the ball, and yeah others drop the ball too, but Kito drops it more. So therefore I don't think the Bombers should bring him back. I really wish he had lit it up in BC, I really do.
  13. I don't think I ever saw Rick House or Joe Pop drop an easy one. I don't think I ever saw them drop a hard one either. Same goes for Milt, and Perry Tuttle.
  14. Maybe Yantz out-duels Willy for the starting QB position?
  15. whenever I think of Kito I think of the game I went to in Winnipeg in 2013 against Hamilton. Max Hall laid a beautiful ball into his arms, and he was open in the end zone by 20 yards. He just flat out dropped the ball. Sorry but there's just no room in the line up for guys who can't catch.
  16. "Did I mention my name is Ejiro Kuale..."
  17. And so that's what happened, #1 is forever cursed now.
  18. Ivan Brown has been assigned 97 for training camp. Yeah ... another Brown. well then it makes sense. Probably why Brock Ralph wore the number 5 backwards in training camp...
  19. I'd cry if someone took #71...
  20. Of course they will. Just like they make money from concerts. When it comes to FIFA, you can never be too sure that they would find a way to keep all the revenue for themselves and leave the Bombers with the concession money only. Hopefully it's as you say. According to reports when there was a soccer friendly here a couple years ago the Bombers made money. I can't see this being different. Even with just concessions it should be a good haul for the Bombers. Well there's one thing I know, if I'm forced to go watch women's soccer, or any soccer, I'd be hitting the concession stands pretty hard.
  21. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/football/cfl/Alouettes-must-treat-Michael-Sam-as-a-player-not-a-sideshow-304740951.html
  22. As much as people get excited about how far we have come as a society, and how far we still have to go (and I for one am so happy that we've come so far, I think it's fantastic!), the fact is that there are still many countries that would execute Michael Sam for who he is. And that's just wrong. But no one seems to give a crap about that for some reason. OK - back down the rabbit hole I go...
