  1. Other than Muamba, the real sad part is looking at who we COULD have had. You mean like Coehoorn, Iannuzzi, Holmes, Butler, Edem..... Speaking of Iannuzzi, IIRC, he had kind of fallen out of favour in BC. If that's still the case, wonder if we could pick him up for a role of tape and a late round pick...
  2. his level of intensity would be pretty hard to beat. Just an amazing player. I wonder sometimes if I will see another LB like him ever again.
  3. This board had a massive hard on for Peach last year, but not sure we need him now. With our depth he'd likely end up on the PR. Not sure if it was that everyone had such a massive hard-on for Peach, but rather a reflection of how flaccid our O-Line was last year. Picard, Bryant and now Chungh are the Viagra our o-line really needed, which we didn't have last year. Also adding Stoudermire helped (whoops, forgot that meme was dead).
  4. Arash Madani @ArashMadani Khalif Mitchell says that after a "heart-to-heart conversation," he "wholeheartedly" apologizes for his tweets. #CFL
  5. Good thing their fanbase beat them to that number.
  6. wish coach Burke all the best - hope things work out ok for him, whatever the issue is.
  7. I thought you were high on Goard? Or was that someone else. Oh well.
  8. So the first order of business for Notley is to hire career NDP cheeseball Brian Topp as her chief of staff. That's got to scare the Albertans.
  9. An ounce of draft is worth a pound of free agent.
  10. You might have to settle for a lemon party. It's almost as much fun.
  11. well at least he has a solid degree to fall back on.
  12. Finally, could we have found the Tyrone Jones clone we've been looking for for 25 years?
  13. I like Chris Mercer before. Based on Forde's scouting report from the past he's one those OL that has attitude and nastiness. So Pencer is getting one last shot. I hope he actually did some fitness training this off-season, and doesn't show up just to perform another pylon/turnstyle exhibition like he did last year.
  14. at least he spelled "you're" right.

  16. Got to broaden his horizons a bit. We'll just introduce him to the concept of dating girls that you're not related to. Sure, there's that awkward "getting to know them" stage that you don't have with cousins, but on the plus side, if you decide to have kids, there no "What in the world...?" from the doctor during delivery. I highly doubt Taman dates. By the looks of his appearance in recent interviews, he's pretty much given up on life outside of the Riders. He *was* dating the Bombers head cheer leader at one point circa???????? I think she was a Libra actually.
  17. I'm down to just six Tampon Bay players in my pool now. Go Stamkos!
  18. Those are the elementary school students who come to watch the games. You can tell that they are elementary school age kids because they smoke Players Light instead of Export A. The teachers are the ones smoking DuMaurier.
  19. yep. Got to get Richards introduced to the Winnipeg ladies so he stays in Winnipeg, much like was done with Kohlert. He'll be confused at first at the odd smell of soap and shampoo emanating from them, but change is never easy.
  20. A very good quote..worth repeating. There is absolutely no reason to worry about "what might have been"...when in fact, we should be thinking "what can be". Ask not what your draft can do for you, but what you can do for your draft. He who drafts last drafts best.
