It never hurts to have an exceptional receiver in the mix that most teams are afraid of and will scheme for, sure opens up a lot of other opportunities, and with the guys we have now they can eat all night. Not like Lawler has to open up the field for Craphonso Thorpe or Brock Ralph lol....as those guys would still find a way to be covered.

New policy - you get the 10 yards for a first down, and immediately slide and give yourself up. That way everyone gets a chance to make a catch as you go down the field and no one hogs the yardage. A socialist football utopia as it were.

I have seen a few half time GC acts in my time. The Black Eyed Peas in 2005 were pretty good. The Guess Who in 2000 in Calgary weren't bad, despite Burton having to wear gloves to play the piano because it was so freaking cold. In 2011 I skipped Nickelback's show to hang out with the Blue Bastard and drink beer. I think the same thing happened in 2014 when I missed Imagine Dragons lol....that BB, what a guy. Since freezing my ass off in 2000 in Calgary, I basically only go to Grey Cups in Vancouver now. Now if Winnipeg is playing....I may break that rule. Should have broken it in 2019...big mistake.

And then when we play the Ar-blows again this year in the Cup....

and then you add in a cold November day to the mix - talk about intimidation. Unless you can take the crowd out of it early you are basically hooped. I did feel in the West Final last year that our guys were a bit jittery too. It didn't help that we had zero confidence in our kicker either. We were in control for most of that game but nerves definitely played a part for sure.

having been at the West Final last year and watching Rourke basically short-circuit and blow the last minute of the game due to the crowd noise has me thinking that no one in the CFL wants to play the Bombers at home. Let it be the West final. Not the WSF. Screw the Lions. They suck.

Still think we should have stuck with AH to the bitter end and let BO go to another team....lol... Time to move on from a few other vets this off season. End of an era I guess but on the other hand we won three Cups in the 1980's to 1990 with three pretty different teams.

yeah the Argos are reminding me of the Vikings last year in the NFL - won a lot of games by pure dumb luck and then melted in their first playoff game when the going got rough. I'm glad we won (and I won't discount the fact that when they put their 3rd stringer QB in they basically were saying "please win, here it is on a platter") but man it shouldn't have been that close.

You should also give credit to Perimeter Airlines and Exchange Income Corp - it was a team effort and it was really good to see. They've been doing this for a few years now, good to see fans from all over Manitoba get a chance to enjoy a live Bomber game.

Yes not sure what game WJ was watching today but he definitely didn't seem to be really on the same page with the rest of the defense. Not sure what's going on there.

I still have my Muamba #10 jersey. After that I just stopped getting players jerseys. Friends got me a #50 Jersey for me for my b-day when I turned 50 with my name on the back. That's going to be it for me I think. Till I turn 65 lol...
