  1. It helps too that the Bombers aren't paying out the contracts on several past coaches and GM's anymore - everyone now should be done right? Lapo, Mack, Crowton, Burke etc.
  2. Well now look what you've done, you've made Kim Jong Un cry...
  3. I would totally agree with you if they had left the dome in place, but now with the retractable roof it is the best of both worlds. I used to hate BC Place in the summer but now it is amazing in there. Anyway, IGF is an awesome stadium and I am glad that the Bombers are pitching in to help pay for it. I honestly don't know of any other team in the CFL that has done that or is doing that now. Perhaps this is a model that the Riders can follow?
  4. having been in both stadiums I have to give the edge to BC Place. But of course, BC Place cost $500 million.
  5. that being said, if this was how they celebrated every goal, their ratings would be a lot higher!
  6. pretty sure that's $4.5 million more than the BC Lions paid this year towards their stadium renovations. Way to go Wade! Good job. Let's see if the Ti-Cats write a cheque next year for their stadium.
  7. Etch being gone is a big plus. Now the Bombers need to keep Willy upright. The Willy that started the season in June could drop a football into a barrel in a 55 yard radius. The throws he was making at the start of the season were deadly accurate. The Willy that finished the season couldn't hit the side of a barn. Something has to change in that regard. It's time our offense was feared once again. I look at how much success Pittsburgh has had this year - on most plays Roethlisberger can knit a sweater in the pocket they make for him. We need that. Willy with time to throw will be deadly. Everything else will follow from it, including wins.

  9. just recovering from the feats of strength I had to do for the past few days. Now that that is done, it is on to the airing of grievances. Happy Festivus!
  10. we need to get another 18 page thread started about this guy again: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chijioke_Onyenegecha You know it's the off-season when you can get long threads going about DB's that barely played...
  11. If the Bombers don't hire him I will blame Walters....
  12. taking the 49'er defence this week...
  13. The Saudis are tired of Obama's weak-kneed foreign policy too, and have been carrying out bombing strikes of their own on ISIS and in Libya, which of course have largely gone unreported.
  14. My favorite scene from Team America: Obama really did **** the bed on this Sony thing. Sony went to the White House for help: http://deadline.com/2014/12/michael-lynton-sony-hack-north-korea-obama-the-interview-1201331113/ And they did nothing, and now they are blaming Sony for their troubles. Total ass-covering. If this had been George W. Bush the media would be all over Bush and calling him an idiot, but as usual, Obama gets a free pass. What else is new.
  15. Weak kneed President. Putting the screws to North Korea with even tougher economic sanctions would be a start. What sanctions are left to impose? The only American import into North Korea is Dennis Rodman.
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFN9Km9KFXU One of the few skits Jimmy Fallon didn't ruin by laughing the entire time...
  17. First we have to get Claybrooks to come to town for a meeting. Unless he's already been here and I just didn't hear about it.
  18. Apparently they just experimented in college but nothing serious developed.
  19. Yeah, a more traditional defense that actually sacks the QB, makes picks and stops the run.
  20. I can see why, given you are wrong so often.
  21. This is turning into quite the good day.
  22. I thought Bucknor was going to get some NFL looks... All kidding aside, the kid played much better than I thought he would. He almost made me forget about how we could have gotten Edem in the draft a few years ago.
  23. He'll probably end up with a good career bouncing around between Jacksonville and Tennessee.
  24. was watching a Colts game this year and heard Muamba's name come up on a tackle made on punt coverage. I can't deny it made me sad, but on the other hand, it was good to see him making good in the big show.
