  1. Only if Rob Ford is playing QB
  2. Dross-over - that about covers it between BC and Winnipeg right now.
  3. Even John Stamos gets it...
  4. http://www.myinstants.com/instant/the-simpsons-nelsons-ha-ha/
  5. I'll see your loser horn and raise you a sad trombone... Max Hall - dude - you should have known in the CFL there is a place for every bad QB as long as he has some experience, just as Joey Elliott and Alex Brink.
  6. I would like to see Kuale and Romby blind-folded and driven across the border and then their passports shredded so they can't come back. We need to start giving Goosen some playing time to get him experience so he can start next year. We have to get the OL to four nationals so that we can play more good internationals in other positions. Playing 3 Imports on the line is just not good. Especially when we put an import in at guard who is no better than a national would be. We need to get some better receivers in here asap. As for QB - Brohm can go but I like Marve and Portis. I am not as worried about the QB as other positions, and that's a good thing. We can build from our base of QB's. But we need them protected, by guys with the right passport.
  7. I did hear that the Bombers are interested in Connor McDavid. Now they only need to get him to lose interest in millions of dollars that he could get in the NHL to play for tens of thousands in the CFL.
  8. ha ha yeah good point - saying he "might" be better than Kuale is like slapping him in the face while kneeing him in the nuts. Right now a traffic cone would be an upgrade on Kuale.
  9. still watching every game, and scratching my head every time I see Kuale jump around celebrating after a running back gets 8 yards, or taking a stupid roughing play, or watching Romby tank another route and just shrug and go back to the huddle. I'm scratching my head because with those two playing almost every down, it's like we've only got 11 guys on the field on O and D. I was so desperate to see a win I watched the June 26th game over again. Kuale wasn't on the field for every down, and man did that make a difference. And of course, no Romby as we hadn't signed him yet. We really miss Nick Moore and Ian Wild.
  10. At the 1936 Olympics I threw a javelin that barely missed Hitler. But I did hit an assassin who was trying to kill Hitler. The next time I saw Hitler, we had dinner and laughed about it.
  11. Grey Cup '96. My childhood memories are that the Nylons performed every Grey Cup halftime show between '82 and '98. Roger Whitaker and Ann Murray were in there somewhere. I want Shania back!
  12. I would rather keep Marve than Brohm, but that's just me. Portis sounds good too.
  13. So BC lets Reilly go and now they are hooped. Sask lets Willy go and now they are hooped. Let's never let go of our Willy.
  14. well it's not like they are being paid to be there...oh wait...
  15. LOL - to each their own. When I saw it in the theatre I had Mrs. KBF elbowing me in the ribs because I was laughing too loud. Jill Clayburgh's lines were classic! I still laugh uproariously when I see these scenes, though I have seen them a hundred times... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjxyWUywYis Well when he did it he was funny. He also had a straight man in a lot of his movies, like David Spade in Tommy Boy. That helped.
  16. I loved Bridesmaids! Especially the scene in the bridal store and when Kirsten Wiig was plastered and caused a scene on the plane - "STOVE" what kind of a name is that? HA HAA This scene was classic too:
  17. looks like Doege or whatever his name is is starting this week. Rider season is hooped. Too bad they didn't move Labour Day to October 6th this year.
  18. Then after World War Two, it got kinda quiet, 'til Superman challenged FDR to a race around the world. FDR beat him by a furlong, or so the comic books would have you believe. The truth lies somewhere in between.
  19. Three wars back we called Sauerkraut "liberty cabbage" and we called liberty cabbage "super slaw" and back then a suitcase was known as a "Swedish lunchbox." Of course, nobody knew that but me. Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.
  20. Kind of reminds me of Brazzell when he does that. Just wait until it gets cold.
  21. they'd buy the ink by the barrel with nickels, which had bees on them. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say. You see, back in those days, rich men would ride around in Zeppelins, dropping coins on people, and one day I seen J.D. Rockefeller flying by. So I run up the house with a big washtub and... Anyway, about my washtub. I'd just used it that morning to wash my turkey, which in those days was known as a walking-bird. We'd always have walking-bird on Thanksgiving, with all the trimmings: cranberries, yams stuffed with gunpowder. Then we'd all watch football, which in those days was called baseball...
  22. Lead on McDuffie. Or this guy too: http://www.bluebombers.com/roster/show/id/7433
  23. At this point I just can't see any teams other than Ottawa trading away QB depth. On the other hand, if they offered a first rounder for Brohm...
  24. I didn't read the damn tweet because I honestly don't care as this is just Riders **** that holds no interest for me. Sorry for feeding the troll. I honestly shuddered when I saw that Migs was allowed here, and sure enough, the same **** is happening as happened on Ourbombers - way too much Rider garbage.
