  1. what like the Stamps do with Sinopoli?
  2. Anyone else think that this guy could be Jim Carrey's real dad?
  3. Yeah it sounds like Jeff isn't the brain his dad is. Perhaps Bob should have thought twice before handing off the team to his kid. I still remember watching the son of the Glieberman guy run Ottawa right into the ground. The height of the stupidity was his great idea to have a "date a cheerleader" contest and the whole "Mardi Gras" night fiasco. What a disaster.
  4. Teams rise and fall as coaches come and go and QB's that were once great get old and retire. Look at the Bombers in that golden era from 1957 to 1965. After Bud Grant left and Ken Ploen retired, the Bombers went into a wasteland that lasted until 1984. And now we're in another wasteland that we entered in the mid 1990's that we are seeming to just be wandering out of again (with some brief stops at an oasis like in 2011, 2007 and 2001-2). It's tough to replace coaches and QB's. Montreal is now entering their own wasteland. The difference between them and us is they don't have the fanbase to survive it.
  5. Feterik, Pezim, Ryckman, Gliebermans, Bruce McNall and the continual clown show of owners in Toronto before Braley bought them...Wettenhall is miles ahead of all of those guys...
  6. Couldn't open the link. yeah me neither.
  7. If Garcia can turn that sad sack group of QB's into actual winning QB's then he's worth his weight in gold.
  8. I said Bomber offense too. Washington had two bad plays - the fumble of course which should have cost us 6 points, and the play near the end of the half where he ran out the missed FG and only got to the 7 yard line. That should have also cost us three, thankfully Sask's bumbling and penalties put them out of FG range. As I said, I don't want to see DW anywhere near any punts, kick off returns or in the end zone waiting on missed field goals. Woods or Cotton. That's it.
  9. Montreal will fold yet again if they have more than two seasons of loser teams. Fans in Montreal don't support losers. They barely support winners, unless they are called "the Canadiens". It was a farce how only three thousand would show up for an Expos game. Just ridiculous. We should be back in the East by 2016. Unless they open another expansion franchise in Quebec City or Halifax.
  10. I guess the game we played them was an anomaly. I would rather play against Brink any day of the week, and twice on Sundays.
  11. Seriously - Alex Brink. You guys would rather play against Troy Smith than Alex Brink....
  12. You guys remember the last time we played them? Or was I just so drunk I imagined that we won it on the last play of the game. I don't see Brink's starting against us after he is destroyed by the Riders. Yes I would rather play against him than Troy Smith.
  13. Why? Look at who the Alouettes are playing next week.
  14. why couldn't they have waited until next week to make this decision...sigh...
  15. Think the Colts will sign Cauchy as an incentive to keep Henoc in the NFL?
  16. yup. Still would like to see us get to four National starters on the O line. Opens up so many other options.
  17. They've still got some good runningbacks. I think with two or three more days of prep and rest time, we walk over the Argos. I don't see how by the fourth quarter we're going to have much gas left in the tank, and that's when Ray is going to destroy us with his precision passing. This short week is total bullshit.
  18. There's 50 feet of crap between us then as I've been in the shitter for weeks now.
  19. Do they really? I want you to actually justify that comment because I see a team that lost because they turned the ball over when they got it and that isn't affected by the Riders picking up meaningless rushing yards (and yes they were meaningless because they didn't result in a hell of a lot of points) Haha if he did run so well we would have lost by more cause we would have had time for a few more turnovers. yeah exactly. The Bombers offense was Saskatchewan's best weapon, not Messam. Demond Washington also helped.
  20. looked like Harris had a high ankle sprain, if so that could take weeks to heal up. Hope Cornish gets better soon, hate concussions.
  21. I don't care as long as Demond Washington never sees a punt, kick return or missed FG return ever again.
  22. Hinse...and...Sorenson...and...Jones in Edmonton...and...?
  23. It seems like Donovan Alexander has been "a week away" since the second day of training camp. Has he even played this year?
  24. While it looked funny it was actually a smart play. A younger less experienced QB would have tried to make a play and would have fumbled or thrown an INT. With the pressure in his face and 3 points sorely needed for the win, it was the best move Glenn could have made at that point. I couldn't fault him for turtling.
