  1. yeah as long as Morley and Greaves are healthy they are starting. Unless we've gone "Etch" on the offence and are now going to start six O-line men, with one being an eligible receiver. That's not as crazy as it sounds given Dan Knapp's background as a tight end. On second thought, it is as crazy as it sounds.
  2. That is an excellent point. I've worked in several companies that had a "VP and COO" and in every case it was an empty title as no one could figure out what exactly it was that this person actually did. It reminded me of that scene from Office Space:
  3. Ha ha yeah I think we had the same parents. There was no way I was going to get a Jersey, unless I bought it myself. Parents just didn't spend money on dumb **** like that like they do now. We got to pick two movies a year we got to see in the theatre, and if we were lucky, we got a Happy meal afterwards. Of course, our parents were also paying 90% taxes at the time due to Justin's socialist daddy, but that's a different story.
  4. well if it's one thing we just don't have enough International O Linemen. Dan Knapp, Jarvis Jones, Corderro Howard, Glenn January, Chad Anderson and now this new guy. We might as well go four imports on the O-line and start three National wide receivers. We just need to pick up Paris Jackson and Jade Etienne.
  5. You obviously weren't alive in the 1980's. Our parents didn't buy us Bomber jersies back in those days. They were too busy spending all of their money on cocaine.
  6. So Wade Miller is taking advice from Nate? Yikes!
  7. Welcome to the board Mr. Miller. If you know what you are doing, please give us insight as to why Mr. Bell had to walk the plank.
  8. This is the Argos. They are probably waiting for some over the hill big name receiver to get cut from the NFL so they can sign him. Andre Rison 2.0.
  9. does he have a job interview at Great-West Life?
  10. I'm sure Muamba will but this was the cut down to 75. oh right. Sorry. The guy on that blog predicts that he will make it on to the 53. He also predicts Hunt will get cut. http://www.stampedeblue.com/2014/8/24/6061697/predicting-the-colts-53-man-roster-post-third-preseason-game-edition
  11. Looks like Muamba has survived the cut-down to 53... http://www.stampedeblue.com/2014/8/25/6065229/colts-cut-11-including-qua-cox
  12. I would rather have SJ Green than Chris "I'm injured again" Matthews.
  13. Madani was on Twitter today bitching about Braley. I think the Argos are in deep ****. Looks like another big "marketing loan" coming their way this year so they can stay afloat. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Wettenhalls fold the tent too now that the going has gotten tough.
  14. We've been saying for a long time now that AK19 is a glorified Brazzell...I am not prepared to say Kelly is better than Brazzell at this point. yeah that's kind of a silly comparison. Kelly actually catches the ball when its thrown to him, unless he gets PI'd.
  15. $250K for an O-Lineman?? Yikes - this league is going nuts with the salaries!
  16. I think they learned with Fantuz that money trumps any loyalty to a franchise.
  17. Go start up a still and brew up some moonshine, live for a few weeks without indoor plumbing or soap, marry your cousin, take some banjo lessons, and it will all start to make sense.
  18. Hey now, if you were a dude, living in Saskatchewan, and that was your sister...you would be thinking that was a pretty hot picture...
  19. still waiting for the inevitable "Donovan Alexander is still a week away"....
  20. I don't mind it actually. I think it's a good "FU" to the fans in the city they are playing, and if they don't like it, they can put down some dough and come to the game to boo the Riders. I'm just glad that it's the Riders doing this, and not the Bombers, as it's pretty arrogant. The only thing is that this billboard strategy would probably back-fire in Toronto as the people of Toronto would say "Green is the new Double Blue? The Blue Jays are playing the Oakland A's this week?"
  21. Glen is his twin brother who is the real brains of the operation. David Braley has a twin brother who runs the Argos.
  22. They used to, back in the Sweryn Mervyn days. As someone already said, if Winnipeg can get out 34K then BC should be able to get at least that or more to their games. It's kind of pathetic when 25,000 people show up to watch a game in a facility that almost every other city in North America would die for.
