Yeah I've been to three Cups in Vancouver now and everyone has been better than the last. They really are getting the hang of how to hold a party there now. 1999 was just plain brutal, with 20,000 seats empty. 2005 was way better even with the Black Eyed Peas as the Half time show (which I missed to go drink beer instead). 2011 was a great party. It helped that the Bombers were in it of course. I know this is wishful thinking but it would be great if the Bombers fluked another Grey Cup run and were playing again next year. And this time they wouldn't have to face BC, unless they were a cross-over.

It's too bad Tom Hanks had to be at one of the worst turd-burgers of a Grey Cup in a long time. It went exactly as I called it, and it wasn't even that cold! Burris sucks. Glenn Sucks. Bring on Collaros.

unless Cortez is going to go behind center himself, he's not going to fix anything without a decent qb who can execute plays. Bill Walsh would have failed here in 2013. A good QB can make even an average OC look good, but a bad qb can make a good OC look terrible. Cortez is good, but it helped he's had Burris and Durant the past two years as his QB's. Justin Goltz or Jason Boltus as your QB? Good luck with that. Do you honestly think Miller / Walters will go with Hall, Boltus and Goltz in 2014? ah....that's why I said he needs a "decent QB".....????

well this thread seems to have been over-taken by a lot of negativity! I for one look forward to this day all year so I'm going to stay positive and just enjoy the game. So they're pretty hungry. That turn-out for the fare-well send off of the team looks bigger than Toronto had for the Grey Cup parade. At least these people know why they are there and what sport the people they are cheering for play.
