Should have signed in Winnipeg - he could have been on the nine game by week 5! At any rate, saw this coming, and it's too bad. Kid was having a heck of a good season on a craptacular team. I never saw this game so didn't see what happened, I'll watch the replay on TSN broadband.

Eskimos quarterback Reilly out indefinitely with concussion
The Edmonton Eskimos say quarterback Mike Reilly is out indefinitely with a concussion, and dispute suggestions they should have pulled him from the game after he took the vicious blow to the back of his head.
Team general manager Ed Hervey says staff will monitor Reilly’s progress and then make a determination when — or if — he comes back this season.
looks like all the huge hits finally took their toll on Reilly this week and he finally got hurt. Too bad, two weeks too late. It would have been fantastic to have had to face Kerry Joseph in a back to back series.
No entirely true, Crowton put more and more of his stuff in as the year went on last year. All those improvements were credited to him putting his stuff in. The new and improved stuff for this year was done for one reason, to try and prevent Pierce from getting crippled, but PIerce can't play that way so they scrambled to try and change it... and PIerce got hurt. The real ironic part is that a quick release offence is actually something that would benefit Elliott more than Pierce. Just a giant **** up in thought process from the get go.
This is me every time you bring up Elliott....
Yeah bluto this season for the WBB reminds me a lot of the Andrus year the Argos had to endure. Same kind of situation, no QB, a coach who just looked lost all year, only hope is for next year when the team can clear the decks, bring in some better coaching talent and rebuild.
The funniest part to me is that he once again failed to get the QB he was after. Coffee is for closers, and Mack didn't close when it really mattered. Joe Mack is the Shelley Levene of general managers....
that's so perfect a description that i'd swear i'd heard that same sentiment being expressed 2 years ago...
What??? I thought I had thought of it all myself....
Let's just blow it all on Ricky Ray and not even bother with an o-line. Good news Ricky - you're getting $800K a year. Bad news - you've got two running backs and 9 receivers to throw to/block for you.
I think at the end of the year, they need to bring in the two Bobs to do a thorough analysis of the entire organization, and start with this basic question of all staff and players:
Garrett didn't really impress me much yesterday. He went the wrong way a few times and didn't look like he knew what he was doing. I also don't think he survived contact with the ground on that TD and TSN didn't seem to have the balls to show the replay from any angle that would have proved it.
Kyle Walters: Justin, we're gonna need to go ahead and move you downstairs into storage B. We have some new quarterbacks coming in, and we need all the space we can get. So if you could just go ahead and pack up your stuff and move it down there, that would be terrific, OK?
Justin Goltz: Excuse me, I believe you have my stapler...
