  1. Zontar aka Dr. Snuggles - come on man - give it up! We'd do it for you!
  2. what I remember most was that the Bombers said in the 1983 final that they couldn't hear anything because it was so loud (83 was the first year for BC Place, so no teams were prepared for the noise), so in 84 they used some kind of special ear plugs and practiced with loud crowd noise to counter-act the noise. 1984 was a totally different game. Of course it helped that Clements could actually play that game. Clements had a habit of getting injured a lot too. He played the Grey Cup game almost completely numb from the Novocaine shots as he had some seriously damaged ribs.
  3. I agree. The only reason we didn't win one earlier than 1984 was due to the Eskimos being basically unbeatable with Warren Moon as their QB between 1978-83, who was only playing in the CFL because those stupid rednecks wouldn't let him play QB in the NFL. It would be on par with trying to beat the Lions today if they had RGIII. Purely by accident I was at the Seahawks game last year where they honoured Warren Moon. That was cool.
  4. man quite the collection of walking wounded already. I just hope we have a starting RT and a starting RB on June 27th. That would put us ahead of last year's opening game where we had to start the human turnstyle Taormina and the "don't ask me to run a screen" Bloi Dei Dorzon. Man last year was just such a cluster-freak. Unbelievable.
  5. That being said, Louisiana is about as corrupt as it gets. The US gave New Orleans billions to upgrade their dyke system and instead the politicians and their cronies all just pocketed the cash, so when Katrina hit the levees weren't nearly strong enough, and still made out of dirt.
  6. ouch. There's 3 or 4 TD's for bad Hank right there.
  7. This is why I am here. All the sad-sacks at OB would just pile on about how Buck sucks and the Bombers aren't going to win a game all year. I can't believe the amount of negativity before the season has even started. Check that. These are Winnipeg fans. I can believe it.
  8. It was in 1962. We won the Cup that year, then didn't win it again until 1984. Man that was a long drought. Not sure how the fans put up with it.
  9. so we have no halfback. We're just going to go with 11 on defence?
  10. So Dr. Snuggles just has to give us his user name and password and we're all good.
  11. I'm a CFL fan and I'll watch other teams pre-season games on TSN (definitely watching the game on Friday on TSN), but I refuse to watch other teams pre-season games on a grainy internet stream.
  12. yes. And thanks guys for trying. This site is awesome. I am coming here more and more and going less and less to the old site, as this one has so much more functionality. I can't stand the black background either, white with black text is so much easier to read.
  13. Probably the worst in the US. Cesspool. If it wasn't for the corruption in Chicago, JFK wouldn't have beat Nixon in the 1960 election.
  14. I'll be surprised if the Schmoes win more than 2 or 3 games this year. They just look brutal on paper right now.
  15. who is they? Cogeco? Why would they do that? Have they done it before?
  16. So can you stream it for us Zontar aka Snuggles?
  17. Morley isn't playing center dude. Sorenson has it locked up. Swiston is banged up so isn't making the trip, I believe I read that somewhere.
  18. His girls were pretty hot too....
  19. IE 10 At home I still have an old version - 7 I believe. Neither are working.
  20. yeah that would be almost as good as a decent stream. I'd rather watch the game live with beer in hand. Even if I have to listen to horribly biased Ti-Cat commentating.

  22. Ticats.ca Staff The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have teamed up with Cable 14 and Cogeco to televise Thursday’s pre-season finale at the University of Guelph’s Alumni Stadium against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Coverage will begin with a pre-game show at 6:45 p.m. before live coverage inside Alumni Stadium begins at 7 p.m. Veteran broadcaster Todd Crocker will handle play-by-play duties with colour commentary provided by Don Edwards. Mike Fortune will be on the sidelines to conduct on-field interviews with Ticats officials and players. A live broadcast will be available on Cable 14 to fans in the Hamilton, Haldimand and Niagara regions. Cogeco subscribers in Burlington and Oakville will be able to watch the game tape-delayed on June 21 at 1 p.m. http://www.ticats.ca/article/cable-14-t ... son-finale Think we can convince a Ti-Cat fan to stream this game online? That would be amazing.
  23. what about Swiston? Isn't he the 6th? If not, then what happens to Morley? Cut outright?
  24. just did a test - worked in Mozilla (which is what I am using right now) but failed in IE and Chrome. Works on my Android smart phone, but not my Blackberry tablet. Is this a Flash issue?
