  1. yeah he was flagged once. He was three yards over the line. I was like "JUST RUN WITH THE BALL" but nope he had try a shitty pass every time.
  2. The play that excited me was when Piggy was almost sacked, escaped the pocket, then trucked two Sask defenders and just kept running. That was very Strevler-esque and had me out of my seat hollering YEAH BABY much like I did a lot in 2019 when Strevs was running wild. Reminded me of that time Strevs destroyed that Sask LB Cam what's his name. That kind of ability is not pretty basic, in any league.
  3. Hopefully he has bigger hands...lol... I liked Hank until he turned on Christobal...then not so much. But yeah, what a great character. I really liked what I saw from Tpig...Piggy...Pigrome...hope we see a lot more over the years to come. Very exciting player. Sask D didn't know whether to poop or go blind when he was on the field.
  4. I don't know anything about training camp, I just saw him come in and light it up in game time, both in Edmonton and against the Riders.
  5. yeah I knew this was coming. I don't recall getting excited last year about Prukop or Brown. Brown is serviceable, but Pigrome has a lot of tools, he can run AND he throws an accurate ball. I was so mad at the defence last night for not giving TPig another chance to get on the field and do some more trucking and chucking.
  6. Pigrome to me is the future. I've watched that play where he trucked those two Sask defenders like 20 times now. Just love it.
  7. Loves me some Pigrome!! I hope that this guy is our potential future Doug Flutie!! What an entertaining player to watch. Haven't had this much fun watching a Bomber QB since Strevy.
  8. almost like replacing Paul Maurice with Rick Bowne....never mind...
  9. Let's just acknowledge the obvious. Grant is with the CIA, and he got called away to run a psy-op in Peru. The Bombers and the CIA have a reciprocal agreement such that the CIA won't schedule any foreign psy-ops in November so he's available for playoffs. Glad he's back.
  10. I was at that game. Fred Reid was unstoppable. Yvenson Bernard too. It was like the BC Lions couldn't tackle that night to save their lives. They all caught a case of the Neil McKinlays. What you guys may not know is that Fred got hurt at one point in the game, and then after two plays and thanks to Mike Kelly's ineptitude in not remembering the three play rule for injuries, Fred went back into the game, and ran for like a 30 yard TD. The TD got called back when Wally threw a challenge flag (I knew Wally had to call it but man what a bummer) and the refs ruled the TD was not allowed as Fred hadn't sat out three plays. Imagine if those yards and Fred's TD had counted.... Important to note - it was Wally who noticed that Fred hadn't sat out the required three plays. The refs were oblivious lol... EDIT - just noticed it was 24 yards...
  11. Let's hope Zach isn't as rusty as he was in last year's home opener. Want to see him going for the kill shot while Bo Levi scrambles for his life being chased by the Jeffs of death lol...
  12. Terrence Jeffers Harris - total head case.
  13. I think Copper Moon just found their new tag line....
  14. "Aaron Hargreaves is our future at NI receiver" (I honestly don't remember anyone saying that, so I'll just blame Nate) "Jabari Arthur is the "factor" lol
  15. yes sure beats the "do we start Brock Ralph or Craphonso Thorpe" discussions we used to have.
  16. we pair cheese burgers with a 1516 here in the Okanagan....
  17. George Maharis, dashing star of ‘Route 66,’ dies at 94 George Maharis, an actor with rugged good looks who cruised the country in a Corvette convertible in the hit early 1960s TV series “Route 66,” died May 24 at his home in Beverly Hills, Calif. He was 94. The cause was complications from hepatitis, his friend and caretaker Marc Bahan told the Hollywood Reporter. On “Route 66,” Mr. Maharis played Buz Murdock, a hardened survivor of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen. His co-star Martin Milner, who died in 2015, was Tod Stiles, a young man raised in wealth who upon his father’s death was left with nothing but a shiny new Corvette. Each week brought a new adventure in a new city. "Route 66″ was the rare series at the time that was filmed on location, moving to new towns and cities for each new episode. It featured as guests many future stars, including Robert Redford, James Caan, Robert Duvall and Alan Alda in some of their earliest roles. “Route 66” spawned its own hit song, an instrumental composed by Nelson Riddle. The more familiar tune, “(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66,” was not connected to the series. Mr. Maharis left the show after the third season, reputedly amid rumors of ill health and a contract dispute, but his biographer, Karen Blocher, said it was because the producers found out he was gay and wanted him off the show after promoting his virile image.
  18. was this game even open to the public?
  19. But then you wouldn't feel like garbage for asking a simple question. Can't have that!
