Let's just acknowledge the obvious. Grant is with the CIA, and he got called away to run a psy-op in Peru. The Bombers and the CIA have a reciprocal agreement such that the CIA won't schedule any foreign psy-ops in November so he's available for playoffs. Glad he's back.

I was at that game. Fred Reid was unstoppable. Yvenson Bernard too. It was like the BC Lions couldn't tackle that night to save their lives. They all caught a case of the Neil McKinlays. What you guys may not know is that Fred got hurt at one point in the game, and then after two plays and thanks to Mike Kelly's ineptitude in not remembering the three play rule for injuries, Fred went back into the game, and ran for like a 30 yard TD. The TD got called back when Wally threw a challenge flag (I knew Wally had to call it but man what a bummer) and the refs ruled the TD was not allowed as Fred hadn't sat out three plays. Imagine if those yards and Fred's TD had counted.... Important to note - it was Wally who noticed that Fred hadn't sat out the required three plays. The refs were oblivious lol... EDIT - just noticed it was 24 yards...

Let's hope Zach isn't as rusty as he was in last year's home opener. Want to see him going for the kill shot while Bo Levi scrambles for his life being chased by the Jeffs of death lol...

George Maharis, dashing star of ‘Route 66,’ dies at 94 George Maharis, an actor with rugged good looks who cruised the country in a Corvette convertible in the hit early 1960s TV series “Route 66,” died May 24 at his home in Beverly Hills, Calif. He was 94. The cause was complications from hepatitis, his friend and caretaker Marc Bahan told the Hollywood Reporter. On “Route 66,” Mr. Maharis played Buz Murdock, a hardened survivor of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen. His co-star Martin Milner, who died in 2015, was Tod Stiles, a young man raised in wealth who upon his father’s death was left with nothing but a shiny new Corvette. Each week brought a new adventure in a new city. "Route 66″ was the rare series at the time that was filmed on location, moving to new towns and cities for each new episode. It featured as guests many future stars, including Robert Redford, James Caan, Robert Duvall and Alan Alda in some of their earliest roles. “Route 66” spawned its own hit song, an instrumental composed by Nelson Riddle. The more familiar tune, “(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66,” was not connected to the series. Mr. Maharis left the show after the third season, reputedly amid rumors of ill health and a contract dispute, but his biographer, Karen Blocher, said it was because the producers found out he was gay and wanted him off the show after promoting his virile image.

Reminded me of the Jets a lot, just lacking that killer instinct when it counts, while good old Matt T. seems to know exactly when to sink that knife in. What a run for that guy. I totally couldn't stand him in Calgary but man does Pa Ma have him playing disciplined smart hockey right now. Florida must be loving it that Dallas won tonight, extra two nights off, which at this time of year, are freaking gold.

yeah maybe we give the vets not just training camp but also the first three or four games off. Make the league a bit more fair too....

I'd go even one more... Back in 2016 we were able to get pre-game sideline passes so we were on the sidelines during warm ups(it was the day that the Jets drafted Laine so they had the draft going live on the big screen), and Moe stopped and posed for a picture with my niece and nephew. It was a much appreciated gesture of niceness.
