heh, yeah for sure. This guy was a life long Stamps fan as well but he's so fed up with the lack of leadership in Calgary, the on field product, and the garbage stadium that he's considering just walking away from the CFL for good. Pretty sad situation there, after being a league powerhouse for so many years.

I was talking to a Flames fan last night and he said the problem is Kadri and Huberdeau. Everyone on the team hates those guys. So everyone wants out. yeah that just doesn't make sense. If the Jets are forking out $8 million as part of the deal then the Kings would have had to throw something else into the pot - those three guys and a 2nd are worth a PLD, but not PLD AND $8 million USD. No way.

I really hope for the sake of Winnipeg football fans everywhere that one day we see Strevs back in Blue and Gold for one or maybe two more seasons. Even if he is just the "change of pace" guy again. Man do I miss those days when he was here. 2019 will forever be a magical season much like 1984 and 1990 for me.

I think we can all agree that the Logan Stanley experiment is over. Maybe Boston can take him for their farm system? Scheif plus Stanley plus second rounder we just got for Dubois for Carlo and Swayman. Then deal Helle for a decent centerman out of Jersey and now it's just bye bye to Wheeler and see how we do in the draft.

June 2025 - Vilardi, Iafallo, and Kupari all say they want trades out of Winnipeg... lol I honestly don't know anything about these guys. If we can get a high draft pick thrown in as well at least that is something. To think we gave up Laine and Roslovic for this, so it better be good. PLD strikes me as a guy who has a ton of talent, but will never ever live up to it, no matter where he goes.

Yes at least this year we don't have that same weird pressure to "go without a loss" all season. It's done. No perfect season. Now just clinch first place again and let's get it done so that I can come out from Kelowna and freeze my arse off at the Western Final again...lol...
