  1. Hikes pants up to armpits, checks front lawn for "those darn kids" and then spits and sort of half grunts "that's just plain stupid"....
  2. I'd feel like a total "turd" if I didn't give Andre a thumbs up. The CFL needs more good guys like him! 👍 (20+) Watch | Facebook
  3. oh ok. Not sure what "straight fire" means but I get the cameo thing now. I've heard of Cameo because I listen to Howard Stern but I didn't know that the Ti-Cats paid Ice Cube to give them a shout out. That's pretty sad.
  4. There's pretty much nothing in this post from top to bottom that I can understand? Straight fire? Book Cameo? What???
  5. Aaron Rodgers says hi....lol...
  6. Especially if we are talking 2005 - 2007 Kevin Glenn.
  7. Eli plays at home, Dobson on the road...good compromise...lol
  8. Cactus Jack is smiling down on that post for sure.
  9. What about Fatboi? The guys seem to love him, just curious if he also played a role in the culture turnaround...thanks...
  10. Why does Hamilton get the Grey Cup again in 2023? WTF?
  11. IIRC the knock at Neufeld at the time was that he got injured a lot and so wasn't worth the draft pick. I guess that didn't age very well...
  12. I'm thinking just players that have to travel, but don't quote me on that.
  13. I'd be hopping in my car and driving to Hamilton. Of course, the point is moot given I'm vaccinated, and I honestly don't understand what goes through the mind of someone who doesn't want to get vaccinated, so there's that too.
  14. when you watch last year's WF and this year's WF you realize that these kinds of games come down to two or three plays that make all the difference. A missed FG in this game coupled with a big return, Hansen's goal-line stop of Powell in 2019's WF. Those plays turn games around, and they come from truly extraordinary effort at key moments.
  15. lol good point If you think about it though, those three points would have been huge for the Riders. They would have been playing for the FG to win the game rather than needing a TD. And if Grant hadn't brought the ball out, they would have been playing for a tie. But it's not just about that - that return by Grant energized the Bombers which is what they needed. You could feel the whole game change, as the Bombers realized that things were starting to finally go their way after so much nonsense. They just took control after that and the Riders didn't have a chance.
  16. Definitely it would be handled internally...
  17. Ask yourself - would any of those three Ti-Cats be able to crack the Bombers defensive roster? Santos-Knox played here a few years ago IIRC, but he wouldn't cut it in this line up now. And that ****** Lawrence wouldn't last five minutes in the Bomber locker room, he'd be FIFO'd right out the door.
  18. it goes with what a lot of sports pundits have saying all season - the Bombers don't have to be perfect to win, but those hoping to win against the Bombers have to be darn near perfect to beat them. When you are playing the Bombers, you can't miss 36 yard field goals. You need every point to count.
  19. After having re-watched the second half last night, I'd like to give a star to the Rider kicker Brett Lauther for missing that easy 36 yard field goal, that Grant ended up almost taking back to the house. Also - a star to Janarion for taking that ball out of the end zone and denying the Riders that single point which would play a huge role later. That easy miss and big return definitely turned the momentum of the game around and also denied the Riders three points at a critical juncture of the game. Huge TSN turning point in my view. Thank you Brett for choking!
  20. We didn't have Andrew Harris in the regular season against Hamilsmell. Although Brady had a great game, so not sure how much more Harris would have done. In the playoffs though, having a healthy and motivated Andrew Harris in the lineup is huge. Also - Janarion Grant was hurt pretty early in that game too and we had Nelson handling most of the returns after that. What a difference Grant makes. Always a threat to break one for a score.
  21. I wasn't around during the Bud Grant era so my point of reference would be more like Cal Murphy and Tom Clements, but I'm sure the older fans here who lived through both eras would let you know which one would be closer in nature.
  22. Between 1957 and 1962 Winnipeg went to the Cup five times in six years. And they won the Cup 4 out of those 5 times. And who did they beat all 4 times? Hamilton.
  23. That was actually Brandon but thanks for the shout-out!
  24. whoops - my bad - see you "tomorrow" I guess is what Bob said. My mistake.
  25. I listened to some of the post game and Bob said to O'Shea "see you on Tuesday" so there will be a coaches show this week at least. Definitely should be one to finish the year as well.
