I did get a chance to re-watch that 2 point play again. Before Woli and ZC have their fake-out convo, Woli can be seen talking to Bailey. So I'm assuming that the order was - Woli tells Bailey the ball is going to him, then goes to ZC to tell him the fake out is on and to make it look like the ball is going to Woli. Meanwhile, Hamilton keys on Woli, stupidly thinking that the Bombers would be dumb enough to telegraph a play that badly. Amazing that it worked. Hamilton must have been pretty exhausted mentally and physically by that point to fall so easily for the fake out like that.

Check out 1984 Grey Cup. Tom Clements was having a heck of a time with the Ti-Cats defense, and then old John Hufnagel came in for a change of pace, and the whole game started swinging back our way. Clements then came in again and wiped the floor with them. Sometimes a change of pace guy (like Strevy in 2019) can put a defense on their heels...

Solid, entertaining game. When these guys put their minds to it, they can skate with any team in the league. Good to see the fresh new faces in the line up. I would like to see more youngsters getting called up - that's the way it used to be, giving the young guns playing time, rather than bringing in old recycled has-beens. Keep it fresh. Very true Booch. Unfortunately the one area no team can really boast about depth is at QB. What would have happened if Zach had gone down in week 4 for an extended period of time? Would we still have kept rolling? I don't know. I just hope that the Mafia look at ways for us to get better depth at that position in the off season.

I'll never get tired of watching that OT, so when I watch it again today I'll look for Woli. It was funny watching Adeleke throwing his hands up going "WTF" as Bailey was basically uncovered. You could also hear all the air get sucked out of that stadium on that catch, as the fans just all collectively went "Oh no, we not only need to score, we need to get two points after we score, on one of the best defenses in the past 50 years in the CFL, maybe ever". The look on Needy B's face said it all, they knew they were done.

Very true. I just hope we don't lose too many vital parts of the machine that has kept the steady flow of quality players coming in for several years now. Number one on the list for me would be a QB. We can't ride the Zach train forever, or wait and hope that Strevs' NFL aspirations finally end.
