  1. I think we should and will target Canadians first. I bet we sign Wojt, Watt and Bryant. I think we make a play for Peters as well, but miss out
  2. That's hard core! I've done that once lol
  3. Thanks for clearing that up Mike.... really appreciate it!
  4. I have high hopes for Benton... I think Peters will be our WLB if we do sign him...
  5. I could see us going after Jackson to fill in Watson's role. Big Physical SB, and have JFG and Kohlert in the two WR spots. I have made it known I'm not a huge supporter of signing an Import rec. this year though. We have what looks like a solid group of Imports already on the roster. As far as Imports go, I can see us going after Curran or Peters as well those already mentioned.
  6. Just noticed Toney Clemons on the roster, came on here to see if anyone else noticed him. heres his pro-day http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=69375&draftyear=2012&genpos=WR I dont think I care to pick up a guy like Ellingson in FA now. Guys like McGuffie and Jackson are plenty athletic and had a year of grooming now. Plus new recruits to add competition, I think we'll be fine with who we have/find.
  7. I don't see any pending free agent NI OGs who would be significant upgrades over Greaves/Neufeld/Goossen.Wojt or Eppele could potentially be major upgrades but there are injury concerns. Of course there are injury concerns with Neufeld as well. Everything considered I group those 3 guys together. Neufeld is a very good OG when healthy. You'r very much over rating Neufeld if you think he's in the same class as a healthy Wojt or Eppele.
  8. Our OG's are equally as bad as our OTs. I don't know how people don't see that
  9. Bryant and Greg Wojt would still significantly improve the OL... We could always see if Eppelle wants to rehab here and how cheap he'll com to
  10. If we're going for Imports, I'm hoping for Bowman and Reed. I don't think we need another Rec. competition between McGuffie and Jackson, as well as some new recruits should wield us a decent third rec for the year.... maybe even a guy that could be more. Wouldn't mind a guy like Hickman, But I think between Booker, Fraser and Vega, as well as recruits, we should have some pretty good depth there as well.
  11. If we're using number 2 on a skill position player it has to be Durant... Varga would warrant the high pick but I doubt we see him in the CFL for a few years, so it would be a waste. My dream draft is Groux, Demski, and Ackie... Just so happens it may be possible at this point in time
  12. Yep that's my dream. That line would be dominant. Dominant's a stretch for sure... Neufeld and Greaves are far from dominant Gaurds... Wojt would be a big upgrade if he's healthy. The Picard add says to me that the Bombers want to fix the OL in short order. Also says they believe that Goossen might be better off stepping in at guard when he's ready to crack the lineup. While Wojt's a good CDN guard, Walters' actions in signing Picard say to me that I don't think he's too high of a priority, even if we do whiff on both Heenan and Holmes. Why would signing a center stop Walters from signing a former all star Canadian Gaurd who was his teams nominee for most outstanding lineman the last season he was healthy in 2013?
  13. 2013, he was the Ticats nomination for Most outstanding OL
  14. I'm looking at his play, not his injuries... He's a much better OT.. Not sure why anyone would call Neufeld dominant other than the fact that he's a winnipeg bluebomber and that they want it so bad to be true, that they believe it to be true
  15. Yep that's my dream. That line would be dominant. Dominant's a stretch for sure... Neufeld and Greaves are far from dominant Gaurds... Wojt would be a big upgrade if he's healthy.
  16. If we were to go crazy in FA, I don't think all 3 of Heenan, Wojt and Don O would be impossible. Im not crazy about Watt, though I do respect his ability, and think its very possibly O'Shea and Walters are targeting him.... but we could be getting a good prospect in Groodrich, and I'm a firm believer that you should always build the foundation of your football team in the trenches... and that's our weakest link right now
  17. good thread, very entertaining

  19. I agree with Mike, seems like great competition for SAM. Wonder what happens with Unamba though if we get Sears Back.
  20. Yeah foley is pretty good, as much as I hate the guy as a player...
  21. Hypothetical, But I can see BC offering us their first and second rounders for #2 overall to get a guy like Varga or Durant if there's no NFL interest... anyone here bite on that deal?
  22. I think he projects to be a very good starter at WLB in a year or two.
  23. I certainly wouldnt be opposed to taking Ackie in the second round... This guy is going to be a legit Starting CFL defender one year http://www.tsn.ca/tsn-ca-cfl-draft-profile-chris-ackie-1.184229
  24. It might be wise to stay away from Varga for the first 3 rounds http://www.tsn.ca/tsn-ca-cfl-draft-profile-tyler-varga-1.187433
  25. I certainly wouldn't mind Barron Miles coming over here! Could be a good replacement DC one day if Hall leaves or retires.
