I'd love to see us sign Bourke and Laurent though... Those are my coveted guys. Is Laurent getting serious NFL interest?

If drew Tate becomes our Starter I'll be pissed... Id much rather go with Max. As for our options at QB... really want to see Brown brought back. My internet scouting tells me he's a keeper.... Really want to see us sign Willy and bring back Hall as well. Willy, Brown, Hall would be a nice stable... inexperienced, but I'd rather go with that than Hank at this point. Get a solid OL together with a dominant RB and we'd be fine with those guys IMO.

I tried to tell everyone who would listen that Kevin Glenn may not be the ideal qb but you don't drop the guy until you know you have someone better to replace him with. I was also trying in vein to anyone who would listen we should keep him... also tried campaigning to bring him back last year an got blasted.

I was sort of happy we didn't land Burris TBH... But now that I'm reading the rumored contract Burris got I'm pretty ecstatic. I'll be happier with Willy and Brown duking it out in camp. With Goltz or a new guy in the 3rd QB role doing sneaks. Now we'll have better chances at guys like Bourke, Laurent and Emry if we want.

I'd be shocked if Burris went to Montreal or Ottawa... If he goes too Edmonton just trade for Reilly... We'd be better off anyway

First of all, what does Milt Stegal know about our books? the answer is as much as you and I. If we are in a position where we're struggling cap wise after we let go of Jovon and Stewart, and trading Poblah (who apparently had a 6 figure salary), and Sign Henoc and Burris, then It's time to let go of some more guys who are making to much cash. This team is far to shitty to be exceeding the cap just because we have signed one QB and traded for a DB. I'm pretty sure though that Jovon was the highest paid DB in the league, Or one of them... so signing Banks and letting go of Jovon should open up space for us and give us a talent upgrade. IMO, we should be in a position to sign Burris, Willy and still make a serious play for a guy like Ted Laurent.

I wasn't sure about getting banks at first, but I'm liking this trade now... We were likely going to cut kito anyway, and I'm not so sure banks is past his best before date yet.

Suber Washington and sears are the only guys I want back from last season to compete for jobs... Hopefully Suber doesn't make the team, or gets better

Willy doesn't have the experience to be considered a pocket passer with such a quick release it doesn't matter how many guys they bring cause they can't get him. He will need a lot more time then we can give him. Collaros has shown that he can step up, move around, avoid the rush and improvise to make plays, and has won games on the road. He's much more mobile as well. If we were talking about Day Mac/Anthony Calvio type.... heck even Kevin Glenn... the above would be a statement I could get behind. But Willy is much to green for me to get excited about him behind our O-line.... In my opinion....

If Collaros ends up in Ham and we get Burris, I sure hope we try and bring in Willy as well. Not just because Burris is old and we'll need someone in a couple years.... We may need someone right away because Burris may not work out.

Drew Willy is a good prospect and all, but I highly doubt he would be successful here. Collaros has a much better chance of success behind our O-line IMO.

if the choice is between Marshall and Etchevery, I hope it's Marshall... Though I'm going to be fairly disappointed either way.

Bilukidi was also thought to be looking pretty good, and many fans around here, and I Oakland thought he was was going to stick there also. you never know.
