Why? cause he's quite average. I disagree.. Id rate him above average. I'd rate him in the top 6 depending if you want to count Van Zeyl as a T, and depending where you would put Van Zeyl, whom I haven't watched him closely enough to fairly rank.

Whoever we get, I just hope he meshes well with what O'Shea wants to do on defence. Mr. O'Shea likely has his own idea of what type of schemes and defence he'd like to run being a former perennial all star Middle LB/player coach. And I'm sure what he wants to do is a great idea, so lets hope there is somebody available who fits the mould he's looking for.

I'd certainly take Marshall over Etchevary, and Reed over the both of em!

I'm really pulling for Khari. I think He's ready this time around... He's worked under some good OC's, and he was a damn good QB in this league under some good OC's. He's intelligent and he wasn't to bad in Hamilton on his first go around, Now he's had a year under the best OC in the league. He took Kevin Glenn and got him out of his funk and got him back into a the good QB territory. I think Khari is really movin up and could be a feature OC in the near future. Let's hope its with us.

What was wrong with Dunn? For a rookie he seemed to play pretty well. Stewart is a guy that I wouldn't write off yet either, I'd say he gets a chance to rebound cause he is that guy with good size that everyone around here seems to be screaming to find. Mainor I wouldn't call a starter either, he's a depth guy and has been for pretty much his whole career here. Stewart really disappointed me last year, I wouldn't be upset if we bring back Stewart, but I certainly wouldn't be upset if we let him walk either I couldn't care less if mainor is brought back or not. The guy gets more production as a part timer than he does full time. I'd rather find some new ends

Burris is definitely a good QB. I'm in the camp that would bring him in if we could get Nichols or Willy as well. Not that I think they're any better than Max Hall, But it would create competition for the best back up/heir apparent we can get. The thing I like most about Burris... other than his escapability and arm strength, is that he stays healthy. I would definitely also want a damn good O-line and RB so that we can still win games in the cold.

I think we have decent personnel for a 3-4. would be a great way to get Parker and Wild on the field at the same time... Plus I think Anderson and Turner are perfect DE's for that system. Just need to get Bilukidi here for the NT position.

Khari as OC and Jason Maas as QBC/assistant OC would be cool... I like the Baron Miles idea. He wasn't even on my radar(mostly because I'd completely forgotten about him) but as a player he was dominant even at an old age.... To me that shows he has a lot of knowledge about the game. Miles would also have a quality defensive guy to bounce Idea's off of in his HC. Talk about youngest football ops in the league if this happens LOL

I don't think Wade likes getting in front of the bloodhounds (AKA Winnipeg media). He seems pretty nervous sometimes. I think he likes being behind the scenes and not in the spotlight. I was originally on the Khari bandwagon, but the more I learn and hear about O'Shea, the more I think we made the right call. This hire, and the AGM and scouting hires actually make me think Kyle Walters is the man we'll be desperate to keep around here long term. Hopefully O'Shea is in a position where we would be stupid to fire him as well. Really like the way this is all being set up....
