Nichols and Jennings were both at their career bests, Rory K threw a TD pass, Burnham was over 200 yards, and the good guys won in a nailbiter. I miss these kinds of games.

one of my favorite bomber plays from the Canadian Mafia era is a pick by Randle or Leggett from 2016ish. Every bomber on the field except for the far corner threw at least one block on the return, some guys multiple blocks. It was just an absolute freight train of Blue n' Gold flying roaring down the field. I've posted it here before, wonder if I can find it again. If I had more time I'd do a Block of the Week feature because that's part of the game that I don't see highlighted enough, especially with the blocking receivers we have. Adams in particular eats em up.

Joe Pop made a living catching Brock heaters in heavy traffic for first downs. The first pick of my 13-year-old self. Odell Willis. I'll always remember the note of disgust in Knuckles call on that play. "He dropped it. He just. dropped. it."

I know, right? by my count they ran 48 offensive plays. 7 were runs. zero attempt at a run game and a soft pass rush that exposes their young secondary all night long. Some coaching malpractice in orange tonight. Sure we're strong on the lines, but BC didn't even attempt to challenge that. Tells me they surrendered before kickoff.

love how Bailey plays that comeback route, he catches the ball seven yards downfield, turns around four yards downfield, runs straight ahead back to seven yards downfield. Doesn't do any useless lateral running.
