  1. you know it baby
  2. I know Move ***** Get Out The Way is kind of a Mike Sellers thing thanks to that famous youtube but damned if it ain't on-point for Second-Biggest Chris.
  3. yeah, maybe. an injury to a Stampeder starting receiver is the least impactful injury in the CFL. Huff has a goddamn vending machine in the McMahon basement that dispenses receivers whenever he needs em.
  4. speaking of reasons to impeach Trump's ass, we haven't even talked about emoluments yet. Dude's hotels are full of empty rooms paid for by foreign guests who are trying to curry influence, and he wanted to buff up the offseason numbers of his Miami golf course by holding the G-7 conference there. Sure, Congress made him reconsider the G-7 thing, but in the real world, such bad judgment is a firing offense even if you don't act on your bad judgment, because your bosses shouldn't have to watch your every move to see if you're trying to rip them off. Like, if I worked at a gas station and I announced to my boss "hey, when my friends come in for gas I'm just gonna keep their money instead of putting it in the till" it would be totally okay for him to fire me even if he first got me to agree not to keep my friends' gas money. That's all this is, a firing. The American electorate elected a guy who turned out to be a shitty president. Subsequently, at first opportunity, they elected a bunch of Democrats to Congress. For those unfamiliar with the US Constitution, Congresspeople have the explicit power to make a case to fire the President. If the American people wanted to rule out impeachment, they would have voted for a GOP Congress. Trump made that point repeatedly on the 2018 campaign trail, that impeachment was a risk of a Dem congress. That point didn't resonate with the electorate, and so here we are.
  5. this is one of those things that contain multiple true things. yes, the member of congress did have a sex relationship with a subordinate, and that's a bad look no matter what the circumstances. Her resignation is more punishment than I'd ask for, but she made that call. No laws were broken. yes, the member of congress is a victim of revenge porn and whoever did it tried to extort her with more photos. That breaks several laws -- revenge porn is against the law in California -- and I hope law enforcement fries whoever's responsible for that.
  6. definitely wasn't on the Zach train when he arrived here and I cringed every time a stamp came within a foot of him ... but have to take my hat off to him. Lapo seemed to be calling good plays for him too, he looked pretty comfortable out there and we didn't have the usual long doldrums that the Lapo offence features even at its best. I thought we were dog food against Calgary last weekend, didn't even watch the game live, just as a formality on Sunday night before bed. Really really really hope the guy doesn't get hurt any more. He's gonna have a bullseye on him in the playoffs.
  7. He's a fine QB, but he's no Ralph Brock.
  8. Yeah, I don't normally like to think in terms of conspiracies but holy hell does the Epstein situation stink. Two guards fell asleep -and- the camera failed -and- Epstein was taken off suicide watch prior to his death? That's a lot of coincidental failures. On the other hand, a jailhouse assassination seems like a manageable scope and objective for a conspiracy. (unlike the harvesting of millions of votes from illegal immigrants, or the alt-physics that make steel beams immune to jet fuel fires) Just need the cooperation of a few people in the right places to pull it off. It definitely wouldn't be the first weird jailhouse assassination in NYC history.
  9. I remember Robert Marve making at least one real nifty scramble sandlot throws which he was here...
  10. should've said "offensive stat line." my bad.
  11. HHH to Mike Miller for the having the exact same Mike Miller stat line for the sixth or seventh time this year: one target, one catch, one first down. Dude showed some moves too, your FB is not supposed to be able to deke a corner.
  12. Singh is playing the role of so many other NDP leaders: the backup QB/goalie of Canadian politics. Everyone always loves the NDP leader, but they never take the field. Did the People's Party cost the Conservatives any seats in close ridings? Do they still call the Conservatives "the Tories" in Canada or did that end after the PCs imploded in the nineties? man I've been away a long time.
  13. Not super impressed that this person is insisting on remaining anonymous. Tons of insiders are running to Congress to testify; what's this one got to lose?
  14. oh **** Erik Prince, there's a guy who looks at mass graves and see dollar signs. a ******* hyena.
  15. Kurds: we are a minority under threat of genocide by a nation that is well acquainted with genocide Turks: many many countries recognize the PKK as a terrorist organization Trump: LET'S WORK OUT A GOOD DEAL
  16. gotta call out Mike Miller for his tight end sweep in the 2nd. love how this guy always makes the most of his one touch per game. ...is running a sweep to a tight end something that happens much in football? I don't know if I've ever seen that before, or maybe I just noticed it because it was Miller.
  17. They did the exact same thing last year with much worse QBing. That's a lucky, lucky team.
  18. Don't want Collaros on my team. Nothing against the guy, but he needs to retire .... or the next contract he signs will be with an assisted living facility.
  19. Safe travels DoD and Speedflex! I hear Thailand has some pretty nice beaches.... To stream the games, hit https://cfl.yaretv.com or https://www.reddit.com/r/CFLStreams/
  20. Here's a great story about Alan Dershowitz, a big-deal attorney in the USA who was an Epstein associate and who was accused of being a pedo as well, by one of Epstein's accusers. https://www.cjr.org/the_profile/alan-dershowitz.php Check out this filing from a lawsuit that Epstein's PR firm filed against Epstein. (found it in the linked article) It has an itemized invoice that shows the kinds of things that firm was up to to scrub Epstein's name after he got his kiddie rape rap on the wrist from Florida. You want to see how a media offensive is run, check that doc out. Fascinating and horrible how hard people are working to enable jerks and pedos.
  21. post of the season
  22. Yeah, my family is bullish on Warren too. She reminds me of my first boss -- direct, forthright, and thoughtful. Of course, this is all image building and political smoke and mirrors, but she is marketing herself very effectively to me. I'm sad that Bernie's having heart trouble and I would have been fine with him as the Dem nominee, but if he drops out and throws in with Warren, the progressive wing of the Dems might actually manage to get through this primary without shooting itself in the wang.
  23. So basically the dude is running around talking to foreign spy agencies to try to discredit the spy agencies of his own government. As a non-USA spook, what do you even say to that guy? It's such a huge opportunity to feed garbage directly into the top echelon of the world's hyperpower. There will be espionage textbooks written about this. And the whistleblower is in protective custody after their own President threatened them. Who's guarding them? A federal agency? Do all the people with guns report to Barr? Strange days indeed. The government is fighting itself.
  24. I do wonder how many athletes will benefit from this. In football, will the perks be limited to the 2% of pro-bound players, or will local legends who top out in NCAA see anything from this?
