  1. Just loved the block that Wolitarsky threw to spring Harris down the sidelines in the 1Q of the Montreal game. He patiently stuck with his block during a slow developing play and then took out both his man and the guy pursuing Harris. (that was the play where Harris straightarmed a guy and Cuthbert got all excited about it, not noticing the double block by #82) kinda wish Petermann had stuck with the #71 he wore in training camp -- that's a good-looking number on a Bomber receiver.

  3. 2018-06-23 Winnipeg at Montreal Blue and gold angels pour their bowls upon the mount. The Strevelation I pity the Als-- once-mighty larks of legend now in Kavis' hands
  4. The 52-0 Tim Burke game in 2012, and that game was way worse than this one. We weren't even briefly competitive in that one. The WSF last year was pretty bad too, a couple garbage time TDs put some lipstick on the pig but we were soundly outcompeted on that day.
  5. why is Harris still in? Redblacks should be giving Davis some snaps...
  6. Wonder if they're lining him up at field or boundary? Field corner is a place where teams used to try to hide below-grade nationals. Is he gonna be lining up opposite Dionte Spencer or JFG? Anyway, if Carter is a liability, Ottawa has the talent to expose him. Spencer, Sinopoli, Ellingson, Harris -- the blacks have a pretty good passing attack going there.
  7. (I'm surprised how little chatter there is here about Parliament legalizing dope. Having come up in the era of just say no, this seems like an enormous deal)
  8. If Carter is a liability, someone will expose him.

  11. you really think that becoming a minority in the USA is "losing everything?"
  12. oh, I definitely don't think the sentiment is a false one ... plenty of good people on both sides, as the man says ... but fake photos put things into question.
  13. Snopes says this photo is a fake. The trump movement is plenty ugly in reality, when you spread fake stuff about it, you legitimize all its fakenews whining.
  14. It's a pretty tough catch on a slick field, moving full speed one way and the ball lands behind your back hip. Rod Black called it a drop but I don't think so.
  15. where do you even come up with this stuff? the first play, the pass to Dressler, is a great call with 1:10 to go in a tie game with the ball on your 30. If that play works, Dressler get hit in stride with no Eskimo within 5 yards. Easy jog for 10-15 and likely out of bounds too, putting us on the 40 with more than a minute left and needing just a rouge to win. But Streveler missed the throw, maybe because he had to throw around #94. and look at the second play. his eyes are on the short side of the field until the pocket collapses, and everyone on that side was going long enough to exit the TV screen. His first read looks pretty much like a midrange or downfield shot there. But he gets flushed and chased to the wide side (again by #94) and then his only choice is to take the sack or that desperation toss to Demski. For me, the real story of our second-to-last drive is not "wah we have a timid OC who's holding back our gunslinger QB" (and seriously I have no idea how you get that idea from these two plays) but instead why couldn't our line keep #94 out of the kitchen long enough for Streveller to make a play?
  16. Hey man, take whatever time you need in the tub, you always got a spot on the club.
  17. ah, yeah, I can see Collins breaking stride and reaching back in slo-mo.
  18. That wide-side out around 0:20, was that a great throw or a great catch by Collins? Looks like Gale just tucked it in there perfectly past the DB, but it's tough to tell from the angle.
  19. (edit: never mind)
  20. Gale has a start and a win on his resume, so he's got a tiny edge over Ross there ... though you could say the same of the Fever (actually, several starts and wins for him) Weird thing about Gale is how many teams have moved on from him, in a league starved for backup QBs.
