Yes and no. There hasn't been a lot of diversity in his usage. There's no real "double teams" in coverage. It's more trying to get a 4 on 3 or even 5 on 3 in a given route for a defense. When you almost exclusively run one guy vertical from the slot he's not going to get a lot of space for himself. When they've gone to more of a quick look and forcing the D to defend vertical and wide, there's been space for everyone including Lawler.

I like McCrae if they use him right. With the way defenses are adjusting to Oliviera he can gash them, also with both guys and Demski on the field lots of jet options and ways to widen our D for Brady. You really have a chance to do a thunder/lightning kind of run game when you’re going to need it with the ball being damp along with footing getting more suspect in November. Lawler is really who needs to step up and he’ll get a lot more work in the slot. D still can’t bracket him because we’ll have 6 guys on the field they’ll have to worry about. Only big weakness now is we go down to 2 guys really effective on the vertical routes from 3. Need to run more quick stuff for Bailey and Wolitarsky to open it up.

Most are run blitzes. Hall gives the DB lots of leeway in terms of their assignments and how they want to complete them RE cushion. We've had far more aggressive groups of DBs in the past. That's a big difference this year we are not making any plays on the ball unless they are arm punts.

Even if C Dickenson fluked a playoff win in the West Semi I would not understand bringing him back. They've been trending into the toilet since he's been there.

The Argos were certainly dealt an amazing hand schedule-wise. There's 3 contending teams in the league including them. They had two games in that bracket, home vs BC, here late September when it already didn't matter for them. Didn't play great in Alberta but hardly had to play the West. Guess luckily for them they won't have leave the (extended) GTA once they get out of Sask.
