Collaros could have run for 30 yards there untouched. Sucks to run that zone read look with a QB who never runs, D doesn't have to count him.

The way they are punting is completely different. The aussie **** has proliferated the league. They aren't pinning kicks inside the numbers anymore. They are kicking across the field regularly instead of the nearest sideline.

Not sure how that affects contain on a ball just inside the numbers.

That Lawler play is a must challenge IMO. It's PI and if called it's points on the board. Now you punt from your own 25.

Where the hell is our contain? Alford just picks it up off the turf and runs to the numbers for 15.

If you aren't going to challenge a potential 50 yard PI call, don't challenge anything.

Only issue on punt returns so far are ones he let bounce around. Around 10 yards average is fine. No explosion but offense should provide that.

We spread our big receivers out a lot. All of a sudden we come out running bunch all the time...see how they adjust coverages to that. Iso someone backside, that's where you get Lawler involved. You want to sit your safety over one route and go 4 on 4 vs the rest plus Oliviera? Or leave Lawler 1 on 1. Easy pre-snap read to see what that matchup is.

And only deep. In Calgary they got him on a bubble screen where he busted off a first down. But we don't run that stuff very much.

Pass game kind of lives and dies by the deep ball. Has harmed us a lot in big games but usually make just enough plays to win, or D steps up, or Harris/Oliviera step up. I've given up on them moving off to more of a quick passing game when needed. Seems Collaros doesn't go for it.
