Our average punt return against is best in the league, 9.6 yards. Montreal was second at 10.5, Toronto was worst at 13.6. We tied for lead on kickoff return average against at 20.0 yards. We're 5th in average kickoff distance but 2-5 are within 0.5 yards. Us and BC are the only teams to not have a return TD against. Net punt was 6th but 2-7 are within 1 yard, 3-7 within 0.4 yards. Edmonton was highest by almost 3 yards. Calgary worst by a couple yards. We're 3rd in average opponent field position...but the entire league is between the 36-39 yard line on average. The disappointing thing with Sergio is the depth of kicks he's missing. Way too many 30-50 range. Lowest in penalties by 8 over the season on D and ST. Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton almost doubled us. Over 18 games our opponents took 12 fewer penalties against than any other teams opponents too...refs take the night off for us I guess. Overall across the league special teams in terms of kicking and coverage is remarkably solid. Shocking when someone makes a mistake these days.

What did Sask do to try to establish the run? They didn't. Armstead played a half dozen snaps. Ouellette had more than half his yards on one carry. Sask tried to have Harris go toe-to-toe with Collaros. Which hasn't worked for them since they traded him away. I'd say our D has done a great job week by week of having the right coverage mix for every opponent. Team we struggled with the most was Montreal. Pass rush is non-existent from our DL, that's for sure. But the secondary has been clean almost all year.

Suitor both can't analyze the game and is boring as hell. He's been doing this for 30 years and he's still awful. Thus the hate.

So what it's been this entire season. Game comes down to Bombers answering Argos pass rush. Bombers D doesn't lose games this season. Given up 30+ twice and we won both games. Given up 3 TD's in 4 of 19 games. We've lost one game we've scored 20+ points in this season and that was June 21. It's all on our O.

He had a couple knockdowns when the game was basically over. KSB was fiercely **** talking him in the entire game and you'd think he'd get fired up at some point.
-
Worn out from all these seasons going all the way.
-
Sask has a good pass rush. Stop that and you're putting up 500 yards on that secondary. Everything else across the board is average and OL is bad.
-
Yeah you can but to some extent I get not wanting to poke that hornets nest of video review in this league unless it's a huge play in the game.
-
He tried to challenge a 3rd and short they botched the spot of after it was automatically reviewed.
-
Yeah the refs were basically trying to call nothing in that game. Even No Yards.
-
There are times when the "new information" bit is legitimate. Like say you want to challenge a potential fumble but the ref tells you there's no clear recovery so either way it will be the other team's ball. But this was a complete black and white "catch or no catch."

Ouellette being completely useless was a great help to us. Guy needs to lay off the juice and work on something other than his arms and bench.

Hopefully Augustine but maybe with some blocking utility. -
Well and in that scenario what's the new information they gave him? It's catch or no catch. Not some complicated call.
-
I'd hate to be that ref during the playoff games that ends up on our sideline following MOS around to explain calls. MOS isn't stupid about complaining everything but when he does he's usually exactly right.

Since we've spent on Collaros and the playmakers on O the winning strategy for us is score early and often. Like the West Final, get out early and let the other team try to chase. That's the winning formula for this game too. Toronto doesn't want to play a race to 35 points. They want a race to 20. We need to score points and our D can't give up big plays. We're not going to find a pass rush in the next 7 days but it sure would be nice if someone like Jefferson can at least be a pain in the ass to play against again. Turn the clock back to 2021 for a day.

They lost home field by getting swept in the back to back with us. What a bunch of losers as a 9 win team hoping for a bunch of other dominos to fall to get them home playoff games. Super easy read too. They leave 7 down, go vertical out of max protect…if you have 2 vertical routes on each side of field you’re going to isolate their DBs who want to come downhill out of cover 3 in coverage 1 on 1. I was disappointed we ran into that a bunch of times in 2nd Q. Constant big play opportunity when D is that stupid to show and if you have checks into something vertical.
-
There was clearly little thought put into that once they punted the next time they had the ball...ended up being one of their best players because Whitehead muffed it.
-
Probably not as many as you think: Collaros, Neufeld, Bryant, Oliviera, Augustine, Wolitarsky, Demski, Alexander, Thomas, Jefferson, Gauthier, Bighill, Wilson, Older Hallett Benson wasn't with them in 2019. Chad Rempel was the snapper. You might of. Don't think the effort level changes from week to week on this team. Als were on a run and same group was best team in league this year.
-
Arbuckle had probably the best game against us of any QB in 2021. Wouldn't discount their ability to win with him. He's no worse than Kelly this season.
-
I'd rather play against Dukes.

Leave out the pick sixes. -
Toronto is the team we match up the worst with, no matter the QB. Need a lot better showing from O than our season series vs them to say the least.
-
Harris just piles up yards in garbage time LMFAO. He had 160 yards before our final TD.
-
BC and Sask both had multiple opportunities to put us away this season. BC got us at 2-6 in a back to back, lost both. Sask splits the rivalry games with us and they are hosting this game. Yet here we are.
