The thing with someone like Fajardo at this point is he’s not getting better. So if he’s not giving you a decent shot to beat the teams you have to beat to get to the Cup, why bother with him as your #1? His strength was the broken down plays and running around. He’s either unable or unwilling to do that stuff at this point. He’s never been able to do straight drop backs and make 3-4 decent throws in a row to lead a drive. So no point in sending him out there.

Suitor doing play by play. That game was pre-empted on our TSN feed because of a delayed NASCAR race so had to visualize along with CJOB.

Outside starts to open up too as D are bunching up realizing it's going to take 3-4 of them to get him down. Now they are bracing for contact while he's running full speed by them and then hammering DB's downfield.

They won't be rushing to cut the SAM backer of a D that has only given up offensive TDs to the Edmonton Elks in the last 5 games...and 3 of those 4 being the Mitchell-Houston play, Moore screen, Brown run to start game. Not really giving up any drives. Bennett and Cadwallader would be the bottom 2 Canadians right now. They are likely scared to expose Eli or Dobson to the rest of the league so they are on. Augustine and O'Leary-Orange are the only skill positions backups, especially when Grant is back for McCrae. McCrae offers more on O but nothing on special teams.

We could use a better American back (just in case) and a returner. Whether that's the same guy or two different guys....would be nice to start seeing some new guys at practice.
