  1. Not sure why Collaros is so unwilling to stay in the pocket. 3 man pressure there, need to be able to move around pocket and not panic.
  2. Bet Montreal runs a lot of stuff with Evans tonight.
  3. Big storm in northeast, also rolling through Interlake which is supposed to sit over the city for a bit later tonight.
  4. Be ready for a late night.
  5. Main thing for him is always health which is likely why they are keeping Darby on, who was a major liability in the first 5-6 games. This is the first time he's stayed healthy getting regular reps on D for more than a couple games. D across the board (yards allowed, points allowed) has been better since this current group of regulars started playing together, Wilson, Kramdi, Houston and Rose at corners.
  6. Which is probably why the league should have kept it out of their spin piece.
  7. Kind of like saying you're still stuck in the mud but at least you aren't going in reverse. That revenue number is not good, not positive. The business side of my family that sells stuff would be changing strategy and trying to figure out how to convert the other metrics indicating interest to $$$ with year over year numbers like that. You think of the amount of money someone like Doman has had to pour in to get even a trickle of growth and it's kind of scary in terms of making that sustainable. I'm not sure how many half million dollar concerts or six figure CNE deals he wants to front to sell a few football tickets.
  8. I really don't understand why Jackson doesn't get DL reps as just a motor guy whether on the edge or tackle. The amount of snaps Bennett and Thomas are playing out on the edge, even Walker although that's usually with a backer spying behind him weak-side...if Jackson took half of those and played with a motor he'd be useful. The other part to consider with our lack of DL depth week to week is Jeffcoat is really vulnerable. In any game he could have to go out, and then what? We don't really want to run him into the turf in August, we want him to be a player in November.
  9. Evans just won two starts. Dangerous with legs, better intermediate pass game with Evans, better handle on pressure with Evans. Kind of surprised they are eager to go back with the momentum they've built on O the past two weeks with their run game that is non-existent with Fajardo. I'm happy to play Fajardo, especially if he's banged up.
  10. Fair points on BC. Also pretty significant having those corners confident to attack the ball and not just wait for it to get caught. Gives a chance for Bighill to actually get home a couple times. Numbers from PFF. About the only good thing they do is give access to a data sheet with a membership. Unfortunately it's weekly so have to compile it.
  11. ADS had two games of double digit targets. He's in the top 5 and only played 3 games. BC threw 20 balls at ADS and Lawrence 2/3 of their passes in the 30-6 romp. Those guys on the sideline next matchup, BC can barely get a first down. Our pass yards against (and yards against generally) has dropped dramatically with Kramdi at SAM over Darby. Must be because he sucks so bad he's distracting the other team. Lots to criticize but also need to make peace with reality sometimes. Our pass rush could use a boost.
  12. It's actually the reverse...and not just this season. But he only started 4 games last year and didn't play much D in the other 5. He's got a better ratio of completions to targets than any DB in the league this year, even Nichols. The only DB on our roster getting targeted less is Nichols, and the only DB on our team with fewer tackles per start is Nichols. ADS, Houston and Lawrence are most targeted per start. ADS as a corner on pace for 90 tackles in 18 games. Don't think I want that guy out there over anyone else but maybe Lawrence.
  13. Not sure why you'd put a guy out there who is a complete non threat to pass. You'll get stuffed way more often that way.
  14. Sask played the last 20 mins of that game with Dalke and the busted achilles rookie Lokombo in their secondary. Great job VAJ
  15. Really no excuse to hand the ball back with time left. Gotta waste clock on the kneel downs.
  16. I suppose you get a bit of a read on the rush and don't really give them a look. But you need to be set for a second and have a balanced line anyway so there's not a ton of mystery.
  17. Colossal **** up by Riders O. Also have a timeout. Dickenson needs to catch that.
