Well, defense couldn't get off the field. I'm not sure Augustine needed a half of each game when they really need to get a look at some players.

Except Streveler actually started and played consistently. Pigrome had one year as a partial starter, 2020 and last year at Towson. Streveler threw a couple hundred more passes at USD in 2 seasons than Pigrome did at 4 schools in 7 seasons, both guys were used as gadget players in mediocre Big Ten programs. This guy is raw as hell. Nice to see what we've seen, but it's real early.

Kind of shitty to have guys up here for a month and give them no game reps. Barnes got in for like 30 seconds, Latulas didn't play at all. Hard to evaluate running backs with no reps when practice is basically non contact.

Streveler had a pre-season game in BC where he was 10-10 for almost 200 yards. Was amazing. Different ball game too when other teams have their starters and are game planning for the unique skills of certain QB's they are expecting. Nah, ran a zone read ball control offense. Lots of good years with single digit INTs in era when TD/INT ratio under 2-1 wasn't uncommon. Good player, not great player. In the Kevin Glenn realm, just no longevity as a runner. Busted his leg, done.

Seriously? You are saying a QB who started for half a decade never made a throw? Hard to believe people are so excited about a guy making a throw on a play that's totally pre-snap with no read. He's putting that fade in there the whole way. Nice throw, but pretty basic for a QB at this level. The one to Agudosi was nice. Clearly has a gun. We've seen him do nothing mid-range. Really excited for him to run the short yardage and maybe a bit of an option package. We haven't seen him do anything as a passer to get jazzed about yet. He can throw, that's great.

Guy ran the exact same offense with the RPO stuff out of heavy sets, dump off to back crossing formation. Nealon Greene was a really good QB until he was washed.

Amare Jones I bet lands on PR. Kind of a wildcard RE special teams and even running QB given his NCAA career. Caught the TD pass.

American DT was the only spot anyone stood out. Walker and Thomas both looked good both games. Wade was garbage IMO, not active at all, waiting on the ball, not pursuing to the ball unless it was right in his gap. Not what I'm looking for in a WIL or MAC.

The Globals are also signed to min salary for 3 years. So could factor in. Liegghio is still cheap this year.

Tough call on the punter. Sheahan had the nicest single punt and a shank, Schmitz and Liegghio both had one good one and one alright one. They'll know who's most consistent in practice.

Depth continues to be an issue. Jefferson and Jeffcoat need a third. We need a WIL.

Would have liked a longer look at the import backs. Barnes gets in the game with 27 seconds, makes one play. We know Augustine can get four yards and go down at first contact, give him 2-3 carries to get his legs and move along.

Pass rush and WIL backer will be concerns coming into the season.
