  1. Suitors talking point tonight is sucking off the panel.
  2. Will they televise the post-game parking lot altercation tonight?
  3. The problem for BLM is the type of injuries he's had from 2019 on. He's had torn muscles and ligaments in his throwing shoulder, elbow and back. Nobody has come back from that really.
  4. All of these metrics are skewed by what is given weight. DB's who are targeted more score higher. RB's who break tackles score higher than RB's who run by everyone. Morrow really disadvantaged there. Really not sure how Thomas-Erlington scores 2 points higher than Logan with lower numbers in every category they show in the chart. YAC clearly given big weight for receivers as no way Philpot near top 10 otherwise. So a guy who catches 8 screen passes a game has an advantage over a guy who catches 4 15 yard passes a game.
  5. Hamilton has no DNA on D either.
  6. I mean Bailey probably makes more sense if you’re actually going to use it but Grant makes sense too for the amount he’d play to sub in and if a Canadian goes down on O he can play the rest of the game. Should have labelled Castillo as one at least to mindfuck the Tabbies.
  7. I guess but literally all they had to do was have Haba play the first defensive snap with Jeffcoat on the sideline to give a bunch of flexibility in case they need it.
  8. I think it’s just a matter of being a small roster. Dress a guy who barely even plays teams at a position to you’re stacked or dress a player say on the DL or secondary where the player can actually play a role.
  9. Only if you're fixated on making it so based on a rookie first impression.
  10. If teams maxed this out there'd be 46 snaps less per game for Canadians on O and D than there has been for however many years they've been running the ratio as it has been 2022 previous. I mean even if they don't want to do it tactically, set it up to best cover for a potential injury in-game on either side of the ball. It has to be guys who have been with the team for 4 years or in the CFL for 5, although that hasn't been defined anywhere I've seen. Like is a season where a guy plays 18 games the same as a season where a guy sits on a practice roster somewhere for 4 weeks?
  11. It's a classic CFL solve a problem that doesn't exist move. Like in the late 2000s when they basically made it illegal to block on special teams because the plays were just too exciting. They had a series of rule changes that lasted a year or less. Maybe just leave it alone?
  12. BC has their defensive nationalized American lined up behind a Global on the depth chart. Does he get 23 snaps replacing a Global/Canadian or what?
  13. Wonder who it will be for Bombers. On O probably makes most sense for it to be Bailey, I'm pretty sure he qualifies although they've never said if it's based on games active or if PR time counts. On D could be Bighill, Jefferson/Jeffcoat or Alexander. All make sense in some way. An end might make the DL rotation a little easier. The other guys usually don't really leave the field but if someone got injured at LB or DB it could help out.
  14. This is maybe the dumbest rule yet and that’s saying something for the CFL. At this point just let everyone on the roster play. The foot in the door for the Canadian guys who maybe would get overlooked is the roster spot.
  15. I don't think both those guys will be on. Would mean they sit Clements which I don't see happening.
  16. You can't plea anything until you get in front of a judge. And yes, the delays in Manitoba with prosecutions are that long. There's been like 20 criminal cases tossed right out in Manitoba this year because they haven't been heard at all within 2 years. Prosecutions in Manitoba are a mess right now. The government is trying to get tough on crime while actively going to war with the prosecutors on wages and working conditions.
  17. The issue is immigration and a work visa. He's inadmissible under his previous visa with the conviction. There's no way to "take care of the DUI" to avoid this. The visa issue should have been taken care of earlier
  18. Yeah so you lose a DI if you dress a third global. Can't take a Canadian spot.
  19. Big difference from last year are the kickers. One DI, one Global. Can they dress more than 2 Globals or does the third one basically count as an American?
  20. I think I'd generally do the opposite, Kramdi at WIL and Darby at SAM but they run guys all over. Briggs is probably our best WIL. Gauthier can fill in at middle but he's gotta stick pretty close to the line. Kramdi can almost play as a dime. If Hallett is good to go you've got options with him at safety too and Alexander moving around.
  21. The only thing is if Bighill ever goes down. They'd probably keep Clements on as a DI and sit Cole. Kramdi is looking decent though and could give some coverage at WIL if someone went down in game.
  22. Where are you dropping an American to fit him on? Cole? Agudosi? Play with no backup American DB?
  23. Tough one. I'm not sure Schmekel is ready to play so we'll probably see a lot of 30 fronts with extra LB.
  24. I'd be happy if Bennett could be a poor man's Fernand Kashama.
  25. If BC struggles at all they will fade hard. There's no culture there and Campbell is a terrible head coach. Cannot believe he's the GM too. Their only hope is Evans taking over. Guys like Rhymes will be belly aching pretty quick.
