  1. Worst possible camera angle for a field goal.
  2. Lots of empty seats.
  3. Bombers defer, Argos take ball, Bombers take wind in 2nd Q. Bombers will have wind both long quarters.
  4. Would be the pro version of Last Chance U. What will **** it up is the media deal with Bell. Ideally you get a show on Netflix because then everyone will see it. There’s a great opportunity to hook in Americans too, following the stories of guys who are American and quite often players at big NCAA schools. But whatever the CFL does it will be buried on TSN and Crave where only existing fans will seek it out.
  5. Begelton even moreso…guy who gets targeted 10 times a game and averages 50 yards a game.
  6. Jeffrey Bannon is probably the guy you're thinking of. That guy also one of the world's greatest examples of the Peter principle. Ran the store well then they put him in charge of brand marketing and he wasn't good lets say.
  7. Buy a Cricut for $200, $100 worth of vinyl and hats off Amazon or at Walmart. My issue with the quality of the current Bomber gear is that I can literally make it at home with my computer and Cricut. I'm paying for stitching not a press on logo I could do myself.
  8. He'll probably get paid because they won't have a QB to give big bucks to. I think he'll basically get the same amount of money anywhere. And it's easy to pick the place that basically doesn't get winter plus play all your home games in a dome. BC also has a good or nothing fanbase, they don't turn on guys.
  9. Would be up to the conference. Just hope in that scenario they get Regina or Sask and not UBC as the visiting team.
  10. Biggest issue with it is amateur football right up to CIS has to work around it and lots of CFL facilities are shared. What happens when the Bisons and Bombers have to host playoff games the same weekend? Access to IGF is almost nil for amateur football below the Bisons now with the addition of the soccer team.
  11. I’m sure the league will rule on the side of forcing the only functional Canadian QB in our lifetimes to go and make more money in the NFL, XFL or USFL.
  12. You’re arguing about contract terms for weeks but lack a fundamental understanding of what an option is. An option doesn’t obligate the team to do anything. The contract terms only hold if the team chooses to pick up the option. If they don’t the third year of the contract doesn’t exist. So yeah, BC could be jerks to Rourke and pick up the option to force him to play for cheap next year if he doesn’t make the NFL. But how do you think that would play out for them in the long-term?
  13. Gotta say about the Bomber gear out now...and maybe CFL overall not sure since I only look at Bomber stuff....is extremely low quality. Used to get polos with stitched logos now its just vinyl press on crap and the price is 1.5x or double. A polo is $90.
  14. They will literally have the contract signed ready to file the same time they file to decline the option.
  15. That's a completely different situation though. Regardless of whether a player was signing as a draft pick or a free agent they had capped the salaries of the Global players. There's no cap on Rourke's salary moving forward since he's played out the 2 years of the rookie deal.
  16. You don't understand what the option is. It's a team option. Yes they can pick it up for the terms of the option year. The other option is to decline the next year of the contract which makes the player a free agent. Teams decline options all the time and rip up contracts to lock guys up for longer term.
  17. If a player has their option declined they are a free agent in February. And why can’t they decline the option and sign the player to an extension?
  18. Collaros too. When the Ticats traded for his rights to beat free agency he was clearly on the way up and ready to start. Had just led Toronto for half the season while Ricky Ray was out. Burris and Collaros both led the Ticats to Grey Cup appearances. I don't believe BLM would be an upgrade on Evans.
  19. Players can still be dealt after the deadline they just aren’t eligible to play in playoffs.
  20. Well he’s going into an option year so they can decline it and rip up the current deal. His first two years yes were locked in…but a team can always release a player to sign a new deal anyway.
  21. Rule 179 Section 3 Part D The player being unconscious before he hits the turf nullifies any fumble. Gonna be hard to bind this rulebook from all the made up ****. League clearly wanted a BC win tonight. They’ll want an Argo win next week so MLSE can finally celebrate winning a “Cup.”
  22. And they have a shitty coach. That team was hardly ready to play. Can’t even run no huddle
  23. That last drive was unbelievable. At a certain point around 1 min forget trying to get everyone the call and just go sandlot
  24. Top story on TSN right now as two winning teams start prepping for a Grey Cup game in a third city is about Rourke “wanting to be a Lion” next season. That’s a December story. Who the **** cares? This league should respect the teams and players that are in the game next week.
  25. Honestly based on that stupid rule just get rid of the nuance and say you can’t touch the punter at all below the waist. Essentially can’t block a punt now just tell teams to set up their returns. The medication will help Collaros immensely next Sunday.
