Bleh. They actually passed more after they were up 22-0 than before. Ford just doesn't have much ability to move the ball. They needed to try to grind down our D and stay on the field. They really need to base the offense around option run plays if they are going use Ford consistently. But then it's not like you can throw Doege out there if you need to with the option stuff fully installed. The issue with guys like Ford and why they end up being gadget players.

Yeah depends what the leadership group is. But the demand for a guy with Brown's skill and experience incubating here will be high. IMO BC, Calgary, Edmonton, Sask, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal all would move on Brown. Yeah some of them have "starters" now, but they aren't anything more than average.

Or we finally complete the 2019 loop and send Collaros back to Toronto to finish up his career at home (his current home) after this season. Just imagine that same situation involving Mahomes. What would the NFL do? Collaros is the premier player in this league at the moment and as a defender you’re allowed to drill him in the head when he’s already out of the play and roll a 300 lb body over him. The only part of the roughing the passer rule on the books that Ealy didn’t violate was initiating contact with his own helmet.

There’s no corner I’ve ever seen play that I would trust to make that tackle in the wide-open field. That was a bust from pre-snap. Hall took the bait. Edmonton had run almost every play in the second half to that point with a stacked up group between the tackles hoping the Bombers would stack everyone inside or on the line to run that exact screen out wide.

Brown's thrown for over 300 yards in both games he's played the majority. Came off the bench in game 1 last year when Collaros got pulled by concussion spotter and led drive for winning FG. Came off the bench last week for 80 yard TD drive. Guy has only produced.

I'm saying in the game of his life he's rushing for 100 and throwing for a bit over 200. He's never going to sit in the pocket and fire off 320 yards of passing like Brown did. Jesus...Keithen McCant. Remember that game and then when he was the next big thing, Cal Murphy wouldn't pay him so he forced a trade to BC and did absolutely nothing.

They were actually playing him to maybe pull the ball out and run on those read looks. Collaros does the same fake but they know he's not pulling it down and running.

Caring about pre-season is your first mistake. Find a game where a backup came in down 22-0 basically at the start of the 2nd quarter and pulled it out with 4 TD passes. This is a real game. I respect Streveler as a QB probably more than most but he's going to put up 350 yards with 150 of that rushing in the game of his career.

Give Damian Jackson a QB number.

Yeah grabbed it off a bounce about a foot in the air. They go down to ground it flies up and he grabs it back.

Both were on sideline in 2nd half and seemed pretty engaged with teammates. So hopefully not too bad. But not a bad idea to give them a week or two off either.

The added threat of Brown maybe running opened up Oliviera a ton as well. Even though Brown didn't run much, teams are not playing those zone read-ish run plays we do as if Zach might pull it down.
