Well if that's their attitude that's a much bigger problem in terms of who is in the building. A lot of these guys aren't going to get other shots if they show basically nothing. If they don't have pride in their own performance their careers won't be long. Like if we cut a Wheatfall, maybe someone picks him up if they have injuries. He's not starting anywhere else. UFL for $55,000 USD I guess.

What do you call though? Calgary is basically taking away the vertical passing game. So if we're not going to break tackles and/or block, we're not going to move the ball.

I don't think he's doing a great job but the effort level/ability of the players on the field in this offense right now is off the charts bad. Like any given snap there's 4-5 guys just not doing anything useful at all, blowing assignments, unwilling to block when it's clearly crucial to the whole play.

The **** is Kolankowski doing? Going to lead block?

Not much he could do there. Great catch and he basically had 2 inches to land his foot in bounds. Lawson has been decent IMO.

I feel like Brady is basically just a decoy in this scheme. Not really knowing his physical condition...but basically hasn't got anything after contact on any play in this game. But if he's that busted up...Peterson showed he could be useful as a secondary runner.

I liked how Vaval was polite enough to not really go for that ball but also held the receiver almost the whole way out of his break. Just make the damn play man. Take your chances with the flag, go get the ball.
