I think Streveler will get picked up by Denver or Miami if he goes on waivers. Jets might keep him too. The two other teams have been pretty actively trying to build in QB run option packages but the guys running them in pre-season have stunk. Would fit with Bears or Falcons (who got a good look at him) too.

The NFL pension isn't anything crazy either, it's like under $50,000 USD per year once someone is vested. Actually kind of a joke when you think most guys on the 53 man are hauling in 7 figures. Litre is useful because he can carry the ball and block like most of the guys teams are using as fullbacks or tight ends. So you could have a tailback in with him motion out and leave Litre in and the D has to account for him. But I don't know how the hell they landed on just leaving him in at tailback every down.

Well when they finally calmed down Calgary's inside zone plays in the 4th they had Bighill at WIL and Gauthier at MLB. Noticed on rewatch too a lot of Maruo as a standup rush end, like a 3-4 OLB. Haven't found much I like in Clements. That WIL spot is really the only one that consistently in the box in this scheme and he's not making any plays. Even a guy like Maruo who plays about 1/4 of the snaps gets to the ball more often.

So why have on-field officials at all? They have to make a call even if it's close. Collaros dives for a "potential fumble" incomplete pass they didn't blow dead and breaks his wrist or separates his shoulder and then what? The whistle would have been moot on the review if Calgary made a clean recovery. There's no issue with the application of the rule or replay for those type of plays.

BC needs to develop a run game. O'Connor can't pass well enough to be viable with his lack of mobility at this level. Shitty arm, yeah can throw far but can't fit the ball in because it has to be a rainbow, so no mid-range accuracy. Pipkin and BC's current 3rd stringer are both RPO type QB's leaning more towards the R. Get another tailback rostered and run to pass. BC's OC is probably the worst run designer in the league over his time. Leaves it all on the QB.
