  1. Benefitted from some **** DB play there.
  2. Yeah maybe. Honestly think he's probably a more willing runner. Always found Hill on carries a little reluctant. Thing about Streveler is too that you know among pros he performs when the games matter most. He did it here. The effort is consistent which is half the battle. I love when Streveler gets into the cadence. He's the only QB tonight I've been able to hear off the sideline mic. I know if I'm the Jets I'm not keeping Flacco and White....but they probably will.
  3. Yeah not really a concern mid-season but I expect they'll have to replace a tackle and a guard, maybe upgrade/replace the other guard.
  4. Streveler just leading scoring drives but also never plays against 1's. I know what I'd do with him though if I were an NFL team. Such a weapon running the ball, then has the ability to pass a bit. Not a guy to leave standing on the sideline, a guy to get out there, even get him running some routes. Christ you run a fly sweep to him and the D has to respect the fact he might pull up and launch a pass.
  5. Formally but mostly we bring in Wolitarsky and Bailey to play inside and block run and pass.
  6. They do all the time...think about how they bring receivers in to block for max protect. No one has clued in to actually bring in guys who have those skills and the receiver skills...they exist coming out of NCAA and often are just as athletic as the receivers we do bring up here.
  7. I think you sign one of the 6'7 250 guys who runs a 4.7-4.8 that the NFL cuts as a tight end and you have you're CFL version of Kyle Pitts.
  8. Back to high school O’Connor is what the NCAA types dub a “pro-style” QB meaning he has limited mobility. It’ll certainly be an adjustment for that offense. Rourke is a 4.7 40 guy, O’Connor is a 5.2 40 guy. He won’t be running by any DL.
  9. BC has really struggled to run the ball. It's all on the QB. Those same receivers have played on bad teams too.
  10. Well and when Rourke was hurt why the hell were they still running 5 step drops and going downfield? Game was over.
  11. I'm saying that's likely how the Stamps have structured their gameplanning between Del Monaco and Dickenson.
  12. I truly doubt the Lions will have that problem next year. They'll be looking for a QB. Rourke will be in the NFL for at least a couple seasons. This injury doesn't change that. If anything the timing helps as opposed to him getting dinged in October or in playoffs. One thing I couldn't help but thinking when the injury happened was how lackadaisical Campbell has been at pulling Rourke and/or shutting down the drop back passing game when the Lions had big leads this year. Got burned big time now.
  13. Think it's run game coordinator and pass game coordinator which is more and more typical.
  14. Doubt it. The fact he's getting surgery means he'll be ready just in time for NFL workouts in January.
  15. Calgary is still running an offense that's 70+ % passing when they don't have a functional QB.
  16. Toronto somehow found the two running backs with the weirdest stride this side of Will Ford. No power whatsoever.
  17. I think Maas and Arbuckle should end up together somehow.
  18. Edmonton gets on a little run here and they could be right back in the pack. Calgary certainly separating from the 1 loss pack.
  19. Bradbury isn't ******* around with the misconducts today...make sure you get the right numbers Al!
  20. Philpot's taking heavy contact from washed up QB's throwing them hospital balls.
  21. Chungh is pretty awful at this stage in his career...he's got the aggression but not much else. Otherwise the rest of BC OL is pretty good with 3 imports. BC's DL is pretty good on pass rush, questionable against run when you have guys like Menard just bull rushing from the edge.
  22. Ottawa signs Dedmon, but will coach deadman get to work with him?
  23. Our high school program could use a receivers coach. Not sure I'd let Lapo near the QB's.
  24. Yeah Sask only has one home game vs Edmonton and one road game vs Hamilton...otherwise the rest of their final 8 games are vs BC, Bombers or Calgary. I think they need 3 wins to have a hope of the crossover. Edmonton needs to win 5 of 8...they might be the more likely candidate for a crossover, they have 3 games remaining vs East teams all at home, game at Sask, home and home with Calgary, at Winnipeg, home vs BC 2nd last week of season.
