Calgary’s offense is looking pretty awful. They really need to start relying on the ground game more but they sure don’t have a back that can take more than about 12-15 carries in a game before he’s injured. I’d like to see the Bombers challenge BLM to go downfield more the next time we play them. Could be a laugher like the 19 WSF if they do.

Yeah the era of instilling fear is over. Guys mostly fear getting beat and watching that on film post-game. You can’t actually purposefully attempt to hurt people anymore. Marino particularly is averaging about 30 yards in penalties a game this season. So if he made 3 sacks a game for a 10 yard loss that’s the kind of contribution he’d have to make to account for his own stupidity, just to even it out. He has games with multiple offsides too it’s not just the rough play stuff. He’s just not a very good player. TBH I think that was accurate. Everything changed with #5 and Hardrick, guys like that. Osh softened on the view that everyone has to be robotic on the field, on the sideline, in the media.

Nelson didn't want BC to get a 31 point lead. Definitely in the 90th percentile for arms we've seen in this league lately. Even Cornelius with his big gun puts half the balls right into the ground.

Anyone who has forced Rourke at all to make intermediate throws has turned the ball over. They have a good scheme and if your defensive scheme falls into the pressure trap you're done. Even Sask basically had him stymied until their O couldn't stay on the field.

Hasn't had to throw more than 3-4 passes that were really contested though. That's the issue. He doesn't have to be all that accurate he's just putting the ball out there to 6'3 or 6'4 guys who go get it. They let Whitehead run free and blitz both halfbacks, just stupid stuff.

BC basically has the opposite schedule to us. Lots of road games in second half. See how that goes for them...they aren't all against the Riders.

Milt has played on a few teams like this Edmonton one. 97-98, 04-05 Think we started about 30 different DB's in each of those Jim Daley seasons.

Don't think Masoli is a legit option. Can't stay healthy. Dressed for less than half the games last three seasons. So many bad QB situations in the league right now, basically guaranteed one team with a garbage QB will be in the Grey Cup. Really outside of Collaros and Rourke they've all sucked this season.
