Once Buck got a feel for Collaros ability to go downfield (like 10 plus yards) and gave up on the West Coast inspired crap we had the best O and D and were unbeatable. Lapo brings a great team to good and a bad team to average.

Sort of but the guy has to be a threat to out run the coverage/DBs and make a contested catch. We’re really talking about one route in the “take the top off” guy. The reason why Lapo is always horny to have one guy like that is for spacing and sure it makes sense to open up a dig or out but the field is also wide so unless the guy is an actual threat the D moves to worry about the actual threats.

Yeah I’m not sure Jamarion is the take top off guy either, more of a shifty guy than a top end speed guy.

Prukop would start in the USFL. That league is awful.

Prukop settled down about 5 series in passing-wise but he's not going to have that luxury if Collaros goes down and we need him to play.

Yeah if he's in the game the D will scheme to force him to make a pass and the offense will do nothing. He's not a special enough runner.

Doug Brown not a QB analyst. Thinking that Prukop has some kind of insurmountable experience. But Brown was here last year and likely in the eyes of the offensive coaches is the more experienced guy.

Brown is very much in the Collaros mold too. Good backup for him, should be able to develop well here.

Mourtada would be a small target for a pee wee long snapper.

Maybe Prokop can be our 3rd string running back/special teamer/3rd string QB.

Would be hard to roster someone like Prukop for me when there's only 2 QB's. Not going to win any games with that kind of QB. If there were 3 dressed he'd be fine as short-yardage gimmick guy.
