  1. Might as well fly him back to Toronto, 16 hour wait here.
  2. Shouldn't the command centre review that automatically as a potential turnover?
  3. That's a fumble, he turns upfield before it comes out.
  4. Argos take timeout before first down? Must be a rookie coach.
  5. Argos reliably offside.
  6. Drop into zone with a 4 man rush and we get a pick.
  7. Damn headshot by Taylor there if Dinwiddie wants to use a challenge.
  8. Olivieira isn't going to beat anyone across the field, needs to get low and upfield, one cut and go.
  9. If they aren't calling that hold on Jeffcoat on that Argo 2nd down play they shouldn't bother calling anything for the rest of this game.
  10. CFL should fine the refs that can't use their mic.
  11. I'd like to see Collaros hold onto one of those zone read plays and take it around the edge. The Argos aren't defending that at all.
  12. Bighill late to read that, doesn't make the tackle and has to know there's no one outside him due to the Argo formation to put all their receivers to the field side, get that inside shoulder on the back don't take the step inside to the pulling center on the trap.
  13. Arbuckle in.
  14. Argos DT is constantly lining up right on the ball, only been called on short yardage.
  15. O needs to capitalize on short fields to put games away. Shouldn't be this close.
  16. BLM is a mess. No velocity on his throws. Do they make fake elbows yet?
  17. Rourke will have the best arm in this game. Thought BLM had nothing on his passes last week. Can loft up the deep balls and drop off a screen but nothing on those 8-10-15 yard throws that the whole game is based on. Looked a lot like how he did in the playoffs last year.
  18. They spend nothing on the OL and they have two big money defenders, Hughes at this point isn't fighting to stay in the league.
  19. That's a thin LB group, even with Antigha. Think we'll see some big fronts with Jeffcoat and Jefferson playing as rushing backers.
  20. I'm sure they won't care when the gambling money saves the league and likely increases their salaries in the long run.
  21. Not too worried about Johnson. He got torched on Hamilton's first drive and our D looked better once he went out. Wouldn't mind giving some reps to the older Hallett and keeping Alexander at SAM.
  22. I think we'll see less uncontrolled scrambles the width of the field and back once some familiarity is established with Olivieira in terms of how to leak out and make himself an option for Collaros when the initial pocket is done. Hopefully we see a bit of this as soon as next Friday. Olivieira was great in protection but didn't really make himself available Collaros on scrambles. Harris is a master of this. Nichols is toast.
  23. There's no way Davis would be worse than that. Nichols couldn't throw a ball longer than 5 yards that wasn't an absolute lob like how you'd throw a pass to a great grandma. Has Jamie Elizondo heard of a post route?
  24. Edmonton is running a horrifically overcomplicated offense. You're playing a team that basically can't get a first down on offense, you have Walker, Wilder and you're running dig routes to a fullback lined up in isolation, then bracketed (covered over and under) in coverage 15 yards down the field (the 3rd INT)!!! WTF is this. Also way too many passes to a really inexperienced guy like Ross which cost them dearly. Edmonton had to finish one drive to win this game even with handing Ottawa a TD. Have no idea how Lapolice and the rest of the braintrust in Ottawa made the calculation that the best bet for them was pushing all the chips into the middle of the table on Nichols. His throwing arm is clearly shot, he's almost two years off the injury, it's not getting better now. Games like this should really make us appreciate O'Shea's ability as a coach along with his staff. And no TD's. Scored one for the other team to lose the game.
  25. I can't see the players in any of these leagues agreeing to anything very soon. Just think the CFLPA was fighting about insurance coverage for football injuries. Now we're talking about risk of a virus that can cause organ failure, respiratory failure. No idea what the long-term effects are even in younger stronger healthier people. One player contracting the virus and having severe complications could lead to millions of dollars in liability. Who is insuring these leagues and are the leagues able to pay?
