That's a tough PI call on this challenge. It's a pull through but the DB is playing the ball. Pretty uncommon for it to be called.
-
Hamilton's first drive, great screen pass for a big gain and then two downfield throws for nothing. They gotta play to their strengths, and it's not downfield passing. It's the quick game and letting their receivers make yards after the catch.

Suitor is among the worst in any sport. He has a scripted narrative for every game and he has to make what happens on the field fit that. His telestrator work is garbage, the sport has passed him by.

Snow/rain and a NW wind pretty much means the TCH west of Winnipeg will be closed once the ditches fill. Kind of stupid really, the highways don't close until the RCMP get a specific volume of calls for service per hour.

Dressing 7 OL gives a pretty good indication of what the game plan is.

Speed only has so much value when the guy isn't a very good route runner. Easy to defend guys who can only run in straight lines. If Whitehead could catch punts we never would have signed Janarion Grant. Whitehead just doesn't bring enough to the roster.

K Jones. Scratch has to be an import.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
JuranBoldenRules replied to Mr Dee's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
How many games in a row did the D not allow a touchdown in July? -
We had a guy in 2009 who dressed as a QB and receiver, Lorne Sam.
-
Could change it any week when they list the roster. Would be up to the league to step in if they thought it was flouting the rule.

That ONE win.....that ONE loss
JuranBoldenRules replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The 07 loss is the worst to me because the Bombers lost that game. Sask did very little to deserve to win it. That's a game we should have won even with Dinwiddie. There were a handful of guys on that team who were supremely talented and were inconsistent because they didn't put a lot of effort into preparation and another group who were total pros and had great talent. That team fell apart the year after along those fractures. 01 I felt like Calgary beat us even though the Bombers were heavy favorites. -
Spy works if the spy can turn the QB back to the middle and tackles are made. Streveler has been running past and through people to the point where everyone knows what is coming and is prepared for it and he still busts off a 30 yard gain. Good luck. Sask has especially struggled. Really what killed our O vs them was trying to be too cute like you're talking about. They've never matched up to Streveler and Harris mano a mano. Lapolice doesn't need to overthink this.

There would still be reserve spots where a 3rd QB could live on the roster. It would be insane for teams to not carry at least 3 QB's, whether you can dress them all or not.
-
Look among the TE/H-Back ranks in the NFL and there are loads of guys like Streveler, high school/college QB's who are big, fast, strong and unpolished passers. Streveler is one of the most dangerous players in pro football with the ball in his hands.

Masoli will be absolutely useless in most CFL offenses. Even Hamilton moved away from the Run and Shoot with Evans who has a quicker release and more accuracy. I'd have pretty much zero interest in Masoli unless we could get June Jones or a disciple of his and a pile of small, fast receivers who are disciplined route runners.

He runs a 4.4 40. He'll be 25 in January. He can absolutely have an impact in the NFL, and with the less restrictive rosters he'll be hugely useful as an H-Back and special teamer, taking the odd snap in some gadget plays. See what New Orleans does with Taysom Hill. Streveler already played some receiver at Minnesota. I would be shocked if Streveler wasn't in a NFL training camp next season. Everybody knows what's coming and he can still run through and around an entire CFL defense on a broken foot. An NFL team can sign him with absolutely no commitment, why wouldn't they? This guy has already proven dominant against pro football players.

Don't expect to win a Canadian football game scoring under 20 points. Yes D gave up FG drive, also the only points they gave up that entire half. Bombers couldn't even manage a first down in the first quarter.
-
If the Bombers and Lapo are at their best the Riders have no chance. The Bombers D with Streveler completely dominated the back-to-back. The O started slow in Regina and lost us the game. Again the D dominated the rubber match in Regina aside from Shaq Evans having the game of his life, the O didn't feature the run enough trying to outsmart Sask, most of Streveler's runs were scrambles. There's no part of Sask's offense that is concerning. It all comes down to Lapo's game plan.
-
What an ignorant call by Dickenson. Why wouldn't you run the wedge to get the first down?
-
First offensive holding penalty in the entire game....to take the Bombers out of FG range.
-
Now finish it off. Keep playing D like it's a one possession game.
-
Collaros is out of rhythm now. Wouldn't even put him out there. He's gonna throw a pick six.
-
High tackle there.
-
Collaros isn't really doing anything but giving Streveler a break this half.
-
Horrible decision.
