  1. We have a roster full of impact players, including receiver. The guys on offense aren't really given a shot to make much impact. Matthews was a bit of a dud with the drops, Lawler is making plays when he gets targets.
  2. MBT cannot handle pressure at all. When the pocket was clean he moved around good and made good throws, when Hamilton ramped up the pass rush in the 2nd half he could barely complete a pass.
  3. MBT just useless vs a decent pass rush.
  4. With any QB. Make the reads and throws quicker and easier.
  5. It's pretty close. Think his head is mostly up because he's getting rocked and self-preservation having a 300 lb DT full force. Rule needs tightening, it's a dangerous play, pretty blatant intent to injure, he's not getting that kick, the only purpose is to damage Rempel.
  6. He should be watching their pass protection. And the guy they have taking most reps at tailback played DB in CIS and last season.
  7. Hamilton running tons of max protect and quick game to get the ball out. Toronto's pass rush gone and haven't adjusted coverages. Hamilton's pass rush has picked up and MBT is hopeless without lots of time.
  8. O'Shea is a pretty calm and collected guy but I'd be pretty afraid when he does see red. Both Dickenson's are weasels.
  9. Yeah but when he's busting off that 19 yard QB sneak he's inflicting more punishment than he's taking. Agree with 1 and 2. The hits to worry about are the ones in the pocket and when he's looking to pass, that's when he's going to get injured.
  10. Hamitlon so stupid with the late hits.
  11. It's really hard to open up space downfield when the D knows we have no screen game and when we don't use misdirection to be deceptive as to what the route combinations are going to be.
  12. Lawler, Whitehead, Grant. He's got a hard-on for Demski who lets us down more than anything.
  13. Honestly wonder based on the off-season. Ellingson and Walker turned us down.
  14. Wonder what Rempel's injury is. I think the league needs to tighten up that rule to say that no one can be lined up over the snapper on kicking plays, but I'm not sure that hit was illegal based on the rule as is, would be illegal at any other level of Canadian football, can't touch the snapper until he moves forward to cover the kick.
  15. He didn't take much IMO, took a slide on one run even. Fajardo got hit a lot more and it's quite a bit different getting hit trying to throw vs getting hit running and primed for contact.
  16. Nobody tries to pass from the pocket as much as the Bombers with either QB, and the Bombers have the worst passing offense in the league. Could be a coincidence, but I think the scheme is a problem.
  17. Any video of the hit on Rempel?
  18. True, Hecht is often a liability. I'm not sure that has an effect on Bighill, I mean there's no freelancing everyone has a responsibility each down, just see Bighill getting beat a lot or not getting to the ball as much as previously. Hecht certainly doesn't play in as much of a coverage role as Loffler did, Loffler would often end up covering on top of a slot route 1 on 1. I think Wilson for JSK is a wash. JSK had a couple huge games but also struggled a bit.
  19. Yeah if he gets sped up he's pretty awful. Hamilton has to figure out a pass rush, especially with 2 of their DB's gone.
  20. Hamilton just puts another great returner on the field every week it feels like....cut our guy Grant before too.
  21. Well and easier to tee off on Nichols because you don't have to defend the chance of him taking off. The chances of Augustine busting off that big run without the D freezing to make sure Streveler wasn't going to run around the right edge aren't very good.
  22. MBT is hot right now, especially when there's no pass rush.
  23. Yeah we were down 5 minutes in TOP after the 1st Q and ended up winning the TOP by about 5 minutes by the end of the game.
  24. Watching teams like Hamilton and Calgary just move the ball at will no matter who is on the field at receiver, running back, OL, QB....but Lapo is a genius? Damn near every game we go on an extended run of 2 and outs, even the bad teams in the league don't do that. We've done that consistently over the last 3 seasons.
  25. I can't imagine Walters is very happy with our offensive output through 11 games, and I know people are going to quote PPG, but our D and teams have both scored and dominated field position most of the season. If they don't we don't score. They don't really have any excuse, we have all the players, even our backups are adequate. Don't need spectacular QBing, just a facilitator.
