Burnham better attack that throw, next time pick six.

Edmonton's OL looking pretty suspect without O'Donnell.

Claybrooks know what "No Yards" is?
-
I don't. He's got a huge influence on the game plan, and it's a burning **** bag.

Dirty hit by Usher on Shaq Johnson on his way down already being tackled.

Ben Major is the Canadian kid from the Simpsons. "They think....I'm slow....eh..."

Reilly just about murdered Duron Carter with the goalpost.

Disagree. Damn near everyone Calgary has had at QB but especially BLM have out performed him behind much cheaper OL for years. They don't have this problem. Reilly's style is a problem, and he sure as hell isn't adjusting for anybody.

Bombers vs Smoked Argos Coming to 'Peg
JuranBoldenRules replied to M.O.A.B.'s topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I doubt his talent, he's an average WIL and a terrible MLB. -
Ferri didn't even come to the CFL until 2007, Roberts last season as a Bomber.

Bombers vs Smoked Argos Coming to 'Peg

I love that he's playing MLB, and can't believe Wild is starting. Both those guys are disasters if they have to cover a back or receiver in man. Matt Webster is their safety and they have rookie Matt Boateng playing nickel. O should tear it up. Nothing on their O is scary at all, have a few good receivers but no QB so meh. -
It’s pretty easy to tell if you’re watching the film and able to reverse a couple times to watch what each receiver is doing and where the QB is looking. He doesn’t need the play call he’s just looking at the routes.

Each data set has pretty significant flaws. Basic QB rating doesn’t factor in fumbles, sacks (whether QB’s fault or not) and gives a ton of weight to TD’s. So if a QB was lucky enough to get the ball in the red zone a couple times a game off a turnover and throw a TD pass each time the number will go way up....if in the same situation the QB passes the ball to the 1 yard line and then it is run in from there his number will be way lower. QB rating isn’t even worth looking at other than over a full season or career. The QB accuracy thing is sort of like curling percentages, has some pretty concrete scoring but also pretty subjective by the person doing the scoring. At least it’s the same guy doing it every week.

It was basically a pancake without the pancake. Actually quite reasonable between OL/DL.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League

Just crazy how talent can go to waste. Simonise was a legit NFL prospect.

Probably Briggs on the roster this week.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
JuranBoldenRules replied to Mr Dee's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Maybe. I think they should really push the flag football program. If I had to choose between that and video game it’s the flag football. Get kids moving, familiar with the game, get them a jersey of their own. -
I think that’s quite likely. They have a bunch of 1st and 2nd year Canadian players on D aside from Muamba. They also likely had some insight on Ackie coming back whenever he decided to sign with a CFL team.

My concern with Streveler is that he's only checking the ball down and that's Lapolice's lack of trust. This is a problem for all of our QB's right now, including Nichols. At times there's a lot of movement in the backfield, misdirection, creative deceptive run plays, play action, rollouts. This is when our offense hums. This is when playing QB for the Bombers is very easy. Then we go to 5-6 possessions of Harris dives, bellies and stretch/search runs (which Harris is awful at, never has been good at, the east-west find a hole runs) and straight dropbacks with very little misdirection or PA. This is when we can't get a first down. This is when our QB's struggle. The way Lapolice preps for each week we won't see a playbook for Streveler unless he is starting. Lapolice installs the plays for the starter and what he anticipates calling in the game, so Streveler's short-yardage package is in there too. So if Streveler comes in he's running a ton of dropbacks, very little option stuff aside from the straight run option plays available for the set Lapo has for him with Nichols playing (we saw him run the same pitch option QB power play 3 times after Nichols went out). Lapolice is a Plan A game prep kind of OC/play caller. Personally I think this is a huge problem because as we see week after week, there's a high probability that you will need more than 1 QB to finish any game.

And if we do we have a bye from October 25 to November 17.

Different guy. Carlos Henderson in this game.

That was an exceptionally stupid decision, run that one out of bounds get back to LOS.

Stamps gotta trust Arbuckle.
