6 defensive penalties on both teams in the whole game and 2 of them on back to back plays on the Rider drive after the Bombers got up two scores to put them on the one-yard line. No special teams penalties in the entire game. Favourable reffing for Sask, great we could overcome that.
-
Agreed. Liked how they used Streveler, could have done it a bit more in the first half. He's such a weapon and he opens up space for Harris. Sask clearly was on edge whenever he was out there.

Disagree it was cheap. Should have been 15. But they missed it because it was a marginal hit on a runner. Jeffcoat didn't launch himself. He went up shoulder to shoulder and Bridge's head dropped when he chucked the ball. There's no intent, they all need to protect their damn heads though. That hit is as dangerous for the hitter as the guy being hit, wish guys would tackles with their arms and hit/tackle at the waist.
-
It's relevant because he's not a passer once he establishes himself as a runner. Check the case book.
-
He's had some moments but unless he takes a pay cut Petermann is a cheaper version of him, and a better receiver. We'd lose the running between the tackles piece but Demski is only great at that when he has a lot of room.
-
If it happened to Nichols it would be a penalty because he'd be in the pocket. Your QB can't run around the field 60 yards and then complain about getting hit on that play.
-
#footballgods Riders got away with a lot of holding, a brutal late hit out of bounds on Wolitarsky, and a free touchdown on two phantom PI's.
-
Add on squibbing kickoffs. Medlock isn't hitting them long and the cover team isn't covering them.
-
They started expecting them to do their job and stopped excusing their mistakes for being goofy.

Did TSN really make a Rememberance Day logo with their CFL on TSN logo embedded in a poppy field? Super tacky. Couldn't just leave the CFL on TSN logo out of it?
-
Guy was the king of excuses. Every off-season he'd train with some kicking guru and have it all figured out and then he'd come in and hit 70% of his kicks again.
-
Everyone spends the same on players, just depends on how much they want to deplete the rest of their roster to make it happen. They certainly won't have a veteran backup unless Lulay is going to play for peanuts.

Just threw a 40 yard corner route to a fullback covered by a halfback. Maybe BC needs a new OC.

It's hard to believe Drew Tate is dressed for this game. Can't see him being able to do anything if he had to play. The ultimate "cold QB."
-
This generation of turf sucks in freezing temps and snow. Snow and ice gets between the layers and it's like an ice rink. I always wore my old turf cleats when it got cold on the fieldturf.
-
At least the Bombers will get the running QB's from the opening snap and won't have to adjust mid game.

I agree. The weather is a great equalizer and makes it really tough to pass, especially when many of the players have limited experience in these temperatures and footing conditions. Have to really secure the ball. Fumbles are a big worry. Special teams will be massive in these conditions. Facing a running QB isn't necessarily the easiest thing on this field in this weather. A lot of that will depend on how both offenses scheme. I hope to hell we go run heavy, use all our weapons including Streveler.
-
I don't think it mattered for us. BC rarely travels well and looks like a true "indoor" team.
-
BC needs to quit blitzing and force Masoli to be accurate. Jones can't go run heavy, he'll always pass. BC has lots of time to get back into this.
