  1. There's the issue with Whitehead doing punts.
  2. Bombers playing pass heavy every down.
  3. If BC loses this game they won't win the Grey Cup.
  4. NFL coaches would roll through an ocean of broken glass and peroxide to find a QB. Saying Rourke didn't get a shot is a complete joke. He chose to sign first in a place with an entrenched QB and backup. And then he went to 3 more teams. Two of them not having a clear starting QB at the time. He had a shot.
  5. Yeah. Unnecessary...the world gets enough of him.
  6. That was the start of the Riders decade without a functional secondary and Don Matthews insane blitz scheme combination.
  7. Edmonton's looking alright with the roster he stocked. Sask lived off him with Craig Dickenson as the coach for many years. His biggest weakness is inability to identify/develop QB's. Everyone wants to give him **** about Ford but he did draft the guy to play QB. He's an exciting player but not an exceptionally durable one.
  8. If the Bombers win the next 4 even if everyone else in the West wins all their other games the Bombers are in first place. No one is running away with anything.
  9. Once got high with Fred Penner. Before it was legal.
  10. Key to the game...don't force it to Lawler. BC's secondary and D in general is terrible.
  11. Yeah...the also part doesn't exactly inspire. It's a big commitment. Feels like they had to find somebody and he's the first person who agreed. Depth of his commitment to being "the owner of a CFL franchise" will be tested significantly in the next 18 months or so. Even the guy who basically drafted him to own the team acknowledges he's not really that interested. It's a significantly uphill climb to get government support for a sports facility especially in that province. Just took the beloved NHL Flames over a decade to get anything actually moving. Doesn't seem like the guy to get it done.
  12. 64 and didn’t seem overly interested, prepared or articulate. Very low energy…and he’s watching a game where his team is taking the piss out of the other team. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Even in good times running a CFL team is basically a break even operation. Edmonton doesn’t have a shot at the same revenues WFC does just based on facility and facility management. They need a stadium. Think it’s fair to question anybody putting their own money forward on their commitment based on these realities. Best case scenario he puts the right people in charge and is basically out of the public eye.
  13. Takes power to hit the target. When guys are sailing balls that's a sure sign the arm is cooked.
  14. Edmonton has 14 points off turnovers from illegal head shots.
  15. BLM has no arm left. Edmonton has 0 penalties in the game LMFAO. Two Hamilton players in hospital due to illegal hits/tackles.
  16. Hamilton got absolutely ****** by the refs in this one off the jump. 45 on Edmonton got to throw different versions of headshots on two of their players in the first 10 mins of the game including their starting QB.
  17. Kind of got talked into stepping up sounds like to me. Might not be super interested in all the necessary work and operational losses a few years down the line.
  18. He does not give off the vibe of someone with a lot of time left. Not making a ton of sense while speaking. Didn't watch the press conference.
  19. That Edmonton owner is 64 going on 85. Looks old as hell.
  20. Completely illegal though. Can't arm tackle above shoulders, can't hit head or neck. That single hit covered a quarter of UR clauses. Then spears a QB in facemask. These things tend to snowball if rules aren't enforced.
  21. 45 with a spear right on Powell's facemask. Time to eject. How Morgan can pull those hits and not get a single flag is just absolute insanity. If I'm seriously injured and they can't even throw a flag I'd be suing the league. There's rules around contact in this sport in the interests of player safety. If they don't apply them they are liable.
  22. They aren't though. The rules are extremely clear on Unnecessary Roughness. QB has at least two refs watching him at all times. Either way, that's a hit that should easily be a flag and likely a misconduct foul as well. You let those hits slide and why should anyone care about taking that risk swinging at guys like that? I know he's thinking that the ball is there but you can't be that reckless.
  23. Insane that there's no penalty applied for that hit. And will likely lead directly to points for Edmonton.
  24. That's a hit that can kill someone. A lot of force into the neck.
