GDT - Bombers vs Esks
Demski looked like my grandma trying to catch that one.

Week Of: Bombers @ Esks
Can say for sure Edmonton will be in max protect all game especially with that left side...going to see 7 blockers every passing down. Hall better have a better plan than rushing 6 into it.

Week Of: Bombers @ Esks
Right so in effect the 3rd QB will be the scratch

Week Of: Bombers @ Esks
They can’t be too concerned about Wolitarsky or Harris because we don’t have an extra NI rostered. If either have to sit we’ll be playing short. One of the HB’s is the likely scratch.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
They have lots of issues with or without Harris. Campbell loses games with poor game management.

Week Of: Bombers @ Esks
I think you’re underestimating the value Harris brings each and every down, he is the safety valve for the offense in a way Augustine just won’t be. The carries are only a few plays, we’d be lucky if Augustine replaces that, but then there’s 40 other plays in the game.

I don’t think Augustine is going to take on 40% of our offense plus the pass protection Harris is tasked with. Would not affect the ratio as Augustine is Canadian.

Paopao was a disaster here and BC save for a run at the end of the 2000 season. He sucked in Ottawa too, that team did not improve at all. The only way he got anything going was using 7 OL.

Regular Season Bomber News
Not at all limiting. Both guys are good receivers and can block too. Both guys are often split out wide and run the whole tree. Would rather have an extra guy in the backfield than a field WR 35 yards away from the ball. The more guys coming out of the backfield the more the defense has to account for misdirection and the easier throws created for the QB.

Might look at Wilder if he gets cut for real cheap.

Week Of: Bombers @ Esks
I'm less concerned with Streveler turning the ball over and more concerned about an ultra-conservative game plan. Streveler did not turn the ball over much last season when he started. The games he struggled were checkdown city. That's a philosophical issue with our offense no matter who our QB is. Our D and special teams are directly scoring almost a third of our points this season, so we have that to fall back on too. We've needed scores from them to win against the better teams we've beat.

Nichols Injury
Kidnap Aaron Rodgers. Hold his passport.
-
It's time to hand the ball to Streveler.
He might be lost, but I can't say I've viewed him run any reasonable semblance of an offense this season. How many times do you see a QB full roll left and throw as a RH QB? Like WTF were we even running?

GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
Zero pocket awareness.

GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
Bighill should probably sit out a few more until he's full health.

GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
Best at drafting internationals too.

GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
That's horrendous quarterbacking on first down killing a chance for points. Need to make something happen.
-
GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
Nichols CAN'T do that. Need to get that ball out or move.

GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
Brutal by Fenner and Maston.

GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
The entire last minute by both teams was a great clip for a coaching clinic. A lot of overthinking.
-
GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
Down to 2 defensive ends for the rest of this one, Kongbo and Jefferson.

GDT-Tire fire vs Bombers
Garbage half by both teams. Bombers need to smarten up in 2nd half, play ball.

Leos @ Bombers: Week Of Thread
Sure. We have 9 touchdowns/drives that started inside the opponent 20 from special teams or D too. Best thing we can say about the O is in the first five games of the season their redzone numbers were great and they didn't turn it over. The last three have been a pretty big struggle.

Leos @ Bombers: Week Of Thread
Bighill's thing is all about trapping blood in the neck/brain. It's like a **** ring for the neck.

GDT-Stumps @ Bombers
There’s an abundance of ways to counter that type of zone shell (seems like they play cover 1-2 base with robber, everyone is looking to jump routes) though to open up routes for the passing game, flooding, combo routes are the most obvious remedy, also simply running verticals and forcing guys to choose whether to watch the ball or haul ass. I’d like to see the Bombers get teams concerned about vertical routes and crossers to the speed guys then smack teams right in the face with 15 yard back shoulder plays to the big guys like Wolitasky and Matthews. Can’t believe they haven’t figured out how to turn these guys loose. Harris is a great counter too.
