  1. They are running out of reasonable halftime acts.
  2. Man, Ernest Jackson. Hard to believe they'd dress him and Bowman at the same time. Those guys have each fallen off a cliff.
  3. These refs are really struggling with offsides, blow the damn whistle.
  4. When did Montreal run the ball? They've come out passing since the first drive.
  5. So many penalties and they miss a textbook PI call for the Als on 1st down.
  6. Each team at 100 yards penalties already. Garbage.
  7. No doubt, here's a split screen so you can't see the replay or the play that's happening.
  8. Kind of surprising Adams wasn't kept by Hamilton IMO if they were planning on trading Manziel so soon. He's pretty much a Masoli clone.
  9. Edmonton was way offside on that sack, like wayyy offside. Can't believe it wasn't called.
  10. Edmonton's D is probably the worst in the league.
  11. Arena League was a massive failure. It basically doesn’t exist anymore, there are a bunch of small arena leagues. The crazy thing is that the NFL isn’t even what does these lower pro leagues in, it’s NCAA and high school football that they can’t compete with.
  12. Only for as long as their CFL contract is in effect. Example, player signs during NFL window after CFL 2018 season, has CFL contract for 2019. If that player was released during the 2019 CFL season his rights remain with his CFL team. In the past there was a 10 day window for the player to sign another NFL deal before he had to report back to the CFL team. If that player were released by the NFL team in 2020, he'd be a CFL free agent as his CFL contract expired following the 2019 CFL season.
  13. I’m not sure why it’s tragic that the province does not own the stadium. They don’t want to operate a stadium and honestly it’s almost more of a liability than an asset in terms of maintenance vs the actual value of it in terms of finances in the long run. That said, the province does have a huge say in Triple B and the Blue Bombers board. It’s actually a very good arms length kind of setup. IGF is most definitely a public building. Brodbeck is being obtuse. What does he want? To be able to walk his dog there whenever he wants?
  14. He stayed out on the one on the goal-line so the Argos couldn’t sub.
  15. It would be crazy to have Harris, Flanders and Demski all on the field at the same time. All can run, catch and block. You could run some crazy misdirection there, toss in Streveler in a package too. Real hard to defend.
  16. All the time, usually imports about to be cut anyway.
  17. Reaping the benefits long after Johnny Football leaves Canada. Let’s be real, if he’s even an average starting QB the next season and 2/3’s he’s getting a NFL look. This is a total desperation to sell tickets move.
  18. Rice was an undrafted free agent in 2013. Who are you thinking of?
  19. How can it? If it does work he’ll be back in the NFL by 2020.
  20. No kidding. And they used their 2019 pick (likely 1st overall) on a guy with bum knees who got injured in his first game.
  21. Catching 40% of the passes thrown his way. Targeted more than Wolitarsky and far less productive, targeted not much less than Dressler for the season. If he was catching 70% of his targets you’d be on the right path. You can’t get more targets when you prove yourself to be unreliable, and that’s why he’s seeing fewer and fewer targets in meaningful parts of the game.
  22. The challenges need some common sense, or get rid of them entirely. Illegal contact should be reviewable on the intended receiver. We can challenge roughing the kicker now but not illegal contact? Just because Maas is a ****** who tried to take advantage of it? Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. At this point they might as well just let the booth initiate all challenges. Having one challenge a game is stupid. If the refs are making incorrect calls and the coaches win the challenge they should be unlimited.
  23. Harris is wildly inconsistent. He served up 3 INTs that BC dropped this week. His statlines look good sometimes but he's sub .500 as a starter. The fact he's been pulled a couple times this season already says a lot. Lulay is good but has no durability.
  24. They ran it on the first drive and he attempted to catch the ball that was right on him by leaping and trying to grab it like his hands were two greased frying pans. I don’t understand why he leaves his feet everytime a pass comes his way and have also noticed he’s catching more with his arms trying to cushion the ball into his body rather than catching with his hands up. These two bad habits are sure ways to drop a ton of passes.
  25. BC and Montreal are almost more troublesome IMO. The solution in Toronto has been so obvious for years, they just need some actual money to build a cheap stadium in the suburbs. MLSE and Rob Ford’s big bro might just be the Argos ticket out of downtown.
