That's PI IMO. The DB has to play the ball there, he gets position but stops moving and doesn't really play the ball. Bad call.

If Singleton makes a habit of celebrating tackles 15 yards downfield he's going to get as much respect as Muamba. Smarten up. BLM missed 2nd and 3rd down throws on last drive, one a sure TD if he puts it on the receiver.

Colling, D'Aguilar, Evan Gill, Gascon-Nadon. There's a few guys who might want to play, not sure if they are moving on from football or not.

Because they rotate DL and ultimately do best when 7 are playing, 5 imports 2 non-imports. Now we are down to 5 imports and 1 non-import. There is no depth there.

Only 6 DL dressed against a QB like Masoli could be a huge factor. I think as this season moves along the Bombers need to make a move for some Canadian depth on the DL.

Don’t want to blame the victim but the only one of the 3 involved in the hit who changes trajectory is Ray. Appears to me he’s trying hard to get to the turf once he knows he’s done for the play as he often does and ends up in an awkward position. Would have taken a big hit without putting himself on the turf but probably would have taken most of the impact in his torso rather than the top of his head if he took the tackle.

He also punted twice in the entire game.

I think we should use that spot on D. We have lots of return options.

The upside on the two back front is that Demski and Lafrance can play.

Bede’s net was 26, Medlock’s net was 39 on punts. Not sure how the Bombers lost field position. 39 is exceptional.

Why can’t we use both? Streveler is the perfect change of pace guy. Could easily install a few packages for him every week once Nichols is back.

Seen enough of him in two preseasons to know his accuracy is his limiting factor. Might be a better runner than Streveler, last time he was here they practiced him as a receiver.

If you had another NI DL who could play that would be the spot.

NCAA does it and it’s backed by replay. Has worked fine.

The hit on Ray was awkward. I didn’t see anything wrong with it. The two Stamps collided with the most force really. They want to avoid judging intent but that’s BS. Anyone who watches that Muamba hit knows what he’s doing, Plus as you say by the letter of the law they can have a repeat offender scale for headshots. Maybe first infraction is max fine, second and third is 1 game suspension, fourth is 3 games, fifth is 9 games and sixth is banishment from the league. But for the love of god protect the QBs and skill players at the very least. You have a guy like Streveler starring in his second start who could be a flash or he could be a star for the next 15 years and some loser like Muamba can attempt to take his head off, threatening his career and only get 15 yards.

Plus the 3 on the sideline subbing in. Every DC in the league is going to be thinking about Simonise coming on the field and taking on their corners.

Turned a 7 yard pass into a 15 yard play all through skill and savvy. Still very useful and great that we aren’t completely relying on him because he probably won’t play 18.

The league needs to come down hard in the intent to injure. Muamba said in preseason he was trying to send a message to Manziel and then the headshot tonight. Are they going to let this continue against budding and potential CFL Star QBs? Could easily end someone’s career with stupid **** like that. If he doesnt get suspended it’s a total joke.

Often Lapolice does that for the QB.

Simonise....excited about the Canadian depth on O. We have guys who aren’t getting a lot of time who are just waiting to break out, Petermann, Lafrance can play. Wolitarsky and Demski are living up to the hype.
