  1. Need a plan for #3.
  2. Hoping the read you think you have is there when you can't see it behind the blitz.
  3. I'd put Houston in for Vaval next week. Let Vaval return and maybe play a little D. That out behind him is Sask's only consistent play in this game. He's so locked in on his guy that he's not reacting to the ball if it's not to his guy. He should have about 3 picks/knockdowns in this game already.
  4. We need to bracket #3. Let Harris rot in the pocket. He's spraying the ball all over, very inaccurate. Only one guy making all the plays on the outs.
  5. Don't think he caught that in bounds.
  6. He's gotta stop on top of that route. Vaval blows it chasing the drag that's running into the zone of the WIL instead of staying wide.
  7. Vaval has no understanding of where his teammates are. He's chasing routes that the QB can't possibly throw because there's a Bomber underneath it. If he holds his ground that out route isn't there because he's underneath it so Harris either has to put the ball up for grabs or pull it down based on his playside reads both being blanketed.
  8. Vaughters literally runs past the mesh point of the handoff and the RB just steps around him for a free 8 yards.
  9. Vaughters way undisciplined vs run.
  10. Cadwallader almost got the ball out and they are driving Stevens forward while hold him up to try to get the ball out.
  11. Harris just lobbed that one after telegraphing it. Give me a left tackle who can get a punch on anyone.
  12. Man that very likely could be PI on Lawson.
  13. Bryant and Kolankowski get owned.
  14. Collaros really forcing it to Oliviera on the read plays now. Sask all over it.
  15. Vanterpool chips off duo zone going wrong way run to second level first play for big gain. Having a guy that can move makes a big difference in run.
  16. Point is he's never going to be healthy again and he's trying to prolong his career. Wasn't what he was 3 years ago but still second highest YPG on the team for receivers. Our 3 most efficient offensive games on the season he's out there.
  17. Happens all the time. Surgery has the long recovery. Gavin Walls played almost half a season braced. Schoen had that big brace on. Trying to make it through this season then deal with it in off-season and probably miss a lot of next season.
  18. Was also a perfect bounce on the kick. Worst thing Bombers are doing is using Vaval as full time DB and returner. Put Echols on for Mitchell if Mitchell can’t return.
  19. Anyone who uses the term "ham and egger" should be banished to Rider Fans.
  20. Grant's been pretty quiet. They have the same amount of turnovers too which was always a big issue for Grant. Had some big playoff returns for us but also handed multiple scores to other teams with muffed punts and fumbles. So his net effect was never as gaudy as his stats. If he could hold onto the ball he'd be in year 8 of his NFL career.
  21. Vaval is outdueling Grant both on punts and kickoffs average return, 2 TD's to 1. Reality is they've done a terrible job backfilling guys, but aside from Lawler everyone who they've let walk the past 2 years is cooked physically or below average to start with. They made decisions not to pay Lawler or Ford...terrible decision on Lawler, borderline on Ford. But the bigger problem is the lack of CFL players they are bringing into camp.
  22. Walters (and famously other GM's) have been pretty clear at what their line is for paying receivers, right or wrong. Walters has scoffed at Lawler's price tag twice, and pretty publicly with detailed interviews. I can't see any head coach being happy about losing Lawler. But I know MOS has an irrational belief in his staff and what he's built. Including the personnel department who have been pretty terrible on the American side basically since 2022.
  23. How the **** do you not ask that guy what he was thinking running the clock out?
  24. Argos with one of the dumbest plays in history. Brissett burns the clock going for a TD when they are down by 1.
  25. I think there's too much trust in coordinators who haven't earned it. All 3. And that's on O'Shea. When did we ever have so many guys with no role on O or D? That's the whole point of "next man up/everyone is a starter." We've got like 22 guys dressed on D and we use 14 of them.
