I thought Coney had a good shot to make it.

I'm surprised at how many import DB's they kept on the PR and that both Conteh and Branning aren't on there. White dropped his way off the roster, but still surprised they didn't keep him or Coney as a backup shifty possession guy. After years of not having the bigger bodied receiver that's all we have at import other than Dressler (I don't view Lankford as a legitimate option to play receiver for us). I hope the Canadians, especially Petermann, get a huge chance to take on a significant role. Lankford can't reliably return punts, so he's on the roster for kickoffs again. Waste of a spot. Sucks about Ekakatie. Still wish Walters would have traded down. That 2017 draft sucks something awful, could have traded down pretty far and maybe added a pick or two down the road and still come away with a similar quality player. The best CFL players picked in that draft so far were picked in the third and fifth rounds.

Scared that no one else really showing much on returns will keep him around. Personally I'd keep the better receiver and figure out returns, we have enough smart athletes.

Don't worry. The entire league has put in a trade offer on every player on their roster.

Koczwara badly whiffed that play.

Johnny Augustine whiffed on that block leading to the Ross fumble, but the left side of the OL parted like the Red Sea too.

Keep in mind TSN is owned by one of the biggest traditional media companies in the world. They aren't going to give away live events, which is their only hope to hang onto their traditional business model.

The CFL should really consider going down to one pre-season game or getting rid of the games altogether. They are trending more and more toward glorified scrimmages. Clearly teams place zero value on the games for prepping their actual team.

I think the media is reading too much into one year on BC's sideline.

They need to be making a move on a QB with experience in any scenario I think. Every move they’ve made is to be a Grey Cup team this season. Durant screwed them so it’s going to cost but it has to be done.

Bridge is closer to being released and looking for a team than bringing any kind of haul in a trade.

People are so dumb about CFL trades. It’s embarassing. Can’t get their brains out of hockey, not that their concept of value for hockey trades is much better.

Why trade for a player who seems likely to get cut? That's poor management.

Certainly not that many interior guys. Between 3 there and 6 OL that's 9 guys that don't do much on special teams.

If Ekakatie has to be cut to keep a spot for a guy who is actually contributing, so be it. I don't want to lose a Augustine, Branning, Petermann etc just because Ekakatie was first overall and they were undrafted or a later pick.

Especially when you're paying for 3 coaching staffs and 2 general managers. Good luck to any assistant coach trying to get more than a 1 year contract.
