  1. And DB's literally have to play with zero contact until the ball is in someone's hands.
  2. D gave up 2 FG's and 1 punt single....it would almost be impossible to lose a game if they did that every week.
  3. Wait until Arbuckle throws for 500 yards against them and they start talking about how many 3rd round picks it will take to trade for him.
  4. 32 possessions with no TD's....and about 8 turnovers in there. It's pretty well locked down. I'm not a huge fan of Hall blitzing so much and leaving our coverages without that underneath/2nd level support from the LB's. We have the DL to blitz a lot less for pressure. Part of pressure is taking away quick reads for QB's and making them hold the ball.
  5. Alexander was the guy blowing it in zone...along with the fact we were running double A gap blitzes, or other blitzes with both our LB's on every 2nd and long leaving that dig open as we had no one underneath it.
  6. Our German LB made the tackle on that punt fake too.
  7. Ottawa's O put up 2 FG's and a punt single. So I guess yeah, we won on our first TD.
  8. Medlock just got a call from Team USA Rugby...Wade better get off the wallet.
  9. Davis is not very mobile at all, so don't really see comparison to those guys. Ricky Foggie reminds me more of Streveler at this point.
  10. Well under 300 yards Net Offense for Ottawa, bunch of turnovers, no TD's....what an amazing defensive effort.
  11. And clearly has nothing installed for Streveler beyond the short yardage stuff. I get that they have limited practice time any week, but man you'd think you'd be more prepared to use your backup QB given you're always one play away.
  12. Can't believe Lankford unaware of that, he's played years of special teams in the CFL now.
  13. And why you go empty backfield when the run is so dominant, make yourself one dimensional to the D...why why why?
  14. Because by the time you run short yardage team on and off the field, 15-20 seconds run off game clock, so now you're 1st and 10 at midfield with 15 or so seconds left. So you have 1-2 plays plus a kick. That's if you get it, if not Ottawa gets the ball at midfield with 30 seconds left. Not worth the risk, it was closer to 2 yards too.
  15. Most importantly protecting the ball, he's had some recent troubles with that vs Ottawa.
  16. One of the big criticisms of him in his last stint here was that he didn't play big all over the field. He works harder on downfield routes.
  17. And the guy who wore a hand towel on his head. Couldn't afford Under Armour I guess.
  18. Well and confusing as hell for casual fans and diehards. Hamilton ball, TD to tie, no wait let's have a review, actually First Down Montreal. See you tomorrow for Friday Night Football.
  19. Maybe if they flub the snap, otherwise pretty impossible, and if that's the rule there's no way teams are going to try to block punts.
  20. Montreal should get all their useless players to retire one by one week after week.
  21. Because the kick crossed the line of scrimmage and the Als player was not onside. It's basically like any punt if it crosses the line of scrimmage even if it was tipped by the defending/returning team.
  22. The CFL sure is good at ruining the on-field product with overbearing rules and subsequent terrible officiating.
  23. Game over on a stupid rule.
  24. **** the kickers, if you can block the kick they might get hit.
