GDT: Bombers vs Ottawa
One of the big criticisms of him in his last stint here was that he didn't play big all over the field. He works harder on downfield routes.

And the guy who wore a hand towel on his head. Couldn't afford Under Armour I guess.

Well and confusing as hell for casual fans and diehards. Hamilton ball, TD to tie, no wait let's have a review, actually First Down Montreal. See you tomorrow for Friday Night Football.

Maybe if they flub the snap, otherwise pretty impossible, and if that's the rule there's no way teams are going to try to block punts.

GDT Tiger-Cats @ Larks
Montreal should get all their useless players to retire one by one week after week.

GDT Tiger-Cats @ Larks
Because the kick crossed the line of scrimmage and the Als player was not onside. It's basically like any punt if it crosses the line of scrimmage even if it was tipped by the defending/returning team.

The CFL sure is good at ruining the on-field product with overbearing rules and subsequent terrible officiating.

Game over on a stupid rule.

**** the kickers, if you can block the kick they might get hit.

And Hamilton gets a chance. Blocked punt + 15 yard no yards. Another stupid play by Montreal.

Hamilton had 3 guys loose to get that kick. Hajrullahu kicking it out of bounds did them in. He could have kicked it halfway to the numbers and Hamilton probably would have scored their TD right there so long as Logan doesn't make the tackle.

Montreal had less guys on the side of the field Hamilton kicked to than Hamilton did. Holy man disorganized. Montreal had two guys deep.

GDT Tiger-Cats @ Larks
Either TSN's camera angle is weird or Hamilton's slot is always like 3 yards offside.

Way late...just pure stupidity there.

Didn't survive the ground, didn't have full possession before, needed to survive the ground.

Should be running option with Adams, his leverage on the sneaks is brutal.

Actually insane that the Argos cut Van Zeyl...cut Wilder if you need cap space, he's not even an average tailback.

Hamilton's OL is very good. Coombs is getting 5-6 yards before he even has to encounter anyone.

Als needed 7 there.

Maybe a different guy named Greg Ward gets into some trouble an speeds up the process.

Matt Nichols Discredited Too Much? Passing Yards Are Meaningless
The Argos and Als both look far more disorganized than any team I can recall in a long time, like worse than Burke’s Bombers for sure. Crazy thing is that they both have quite a bit of talent. What’s killing the Argos roster wise is Popp’s fascination with size over ability. Popp really lucked into Tracy Ham and Calvino providing him with a career. He’s been brutal when he’s actually had to try to build a team. The Argos and Als did have training camps, right?

Disagree. No offense is designed to go completely stagnant. They are spending quite a lot on guys like Matthews, Adams to have a QB who can make a throw, they were in the market for receivers in the >$200,000 range. Sure they don't want to turn the ball over, but I think they'd like to have more than 2 first downs per quarter.

3 stars + HH week3 eskynogo
It's more of an advantage for the pass rushers, they should have more in the tank than the OL and therefore be more effective. I can't see any of these guys having an attitude about playing in a rotation, everyone does now and even down to younger ages. I watch Jefferson and just see a freak who's not really a defensive player. He has no technique aside from using his length and speed rush to try to beat tackles around the edge, he's always trying for the ball, which leads to spectacular plays he can make, but down after down he just kind of floats through the game. Once the ball crosses the LOS or leaves the QB's hand he just stops moving. Meanwhile Nevis is 8 yards downfield tackling receivers. I think maybe he needs to make a big play to get fired up and then they'll come in bunches. I agree with the post about letting Jefferson play more of a "wide 9" type of OLB that you see in American 3-4 schemes. On a passing down have him behind a 3 man front take a look at the protection and pick which edge he's going to rush from, behind either Jeffcoat or Roh.

I don't know how Kowalski assigns some of those routes, but Alexander's targets/catches look pretty low to me.
