2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Maybe. I think they should really push the flag football program. If I had to choose between that and video game it’s the flag football. Get kids moving, familiar with the game, get them a jersey of their own.

Regular Season Bomber News
I think that’s quite likely. They have a bunch of 1st and 2nd year Canadian players on D aside from Muamba. They also likely had some insight on Ackie coming back whenever he decided to sign with a CFL team.

Next Up - Toronto Comes To Town For Friday Night Football - Sellout IGF
Lachance or Schrot could be an option to bring back to play special teams. There's also a decent group of cuts from other teams, Dondre Wright is a name that stands out, more of a DB but for special teams might fit in fine.

Matt Nichols Discredited Too Much? Passing Yards Are Meaningless
My concern with Streveler is that he's only checking the ball down and that's Lapolice's lack of trust. This is a problem for all of our QB's right now, including Nichols. At times there's a lot of movement in the backfield, misdirection, creative deceptive run plays, play action, rollouts. This is when our offense hums. This is when playing QB for the Bombers is very easy. Then we go to 5-6 possessions of Harris dives, bellies and stretch/search runs (which Harris is awful at, never has been good at, the east-west find a hole runs) and straight dropbacks with very little misdirection or PA. This is when we can't get a first down. This is when our QB's struggle. The way Lapolice preps for each week we won't see a playbook for Streveler unless he is starting. Lapolice installs the plays for the starter and what he anticipates calling in the game, so Streveler's short-yardage package is in there too. So if Streveler comes in he's running a ton of dropbacks, very little option stuff aside from the straight run option plays available for the set Lapo has for him with Nichols playing (we saw him run the same pitch option QB power play 3 times after Nichols went out). Lapolice is a Plan A game prep kind of OC/play caller. Personally I think this is a huge problem because as we see week after week, there's a high probability that you will need more than 1 QB to finish any game.

And if we do we have a bye from October 25 to November 17.

Different guy. Carlos Henderson in this game.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
That was an exceptionally stupid decision, run that one out of bounds get back to LOS.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Stamps gotta trust Arbuckle.

Calgary's D is better IMO. Edmonton is very weak past the DL. Also seeing Calgary new set of playmakers developing quickly. I haven't been impressed by Edmonton, sure piling up yards but that's meaningless. Edmonton will be up there, mostly because they have a soft schedule other than us and Calgary in the first half of the season. Play BC and the East.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Suicide pass for the 6th overall pick from Fajardo.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Barring something unforeseen it's us and Calgary in the end. Edmonton I think is a step behind and Sask and BC are way down there.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Arbuckle looks legit, good decisions, great ball he tosses.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Moore is garbage.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
What difference does it make? If they call OPI Sask declines anyway.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Man, Arbuckle is smooth.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Good throw but receiver not on same page.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
How did Gainey avoid a flag for that nonsense?

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Sask on pace for 0 first downs.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Calgary starting to shy away from downfield passing.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Zack Evans gets dragged by a 180 lb tailback for 5 yards.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Are they telling Ryan to always punt between the hashes? How the hell do you cover that?

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Illegal participation saves a Rider turnover.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Arbuckle looks pretty comfortable.

B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
And someone who can catch/leap, maybe like SJ Green and/or Walker, Llevi Noel.
-
B.C. /T.O. Calg/Sask
Should have had 2-3 guys back there to keep the ball in play and kick it out/return it if they get a clean catch.
